Gold Crystal Caged Ceiling Fans with Light, 18" Bladeless Ceiling Fan with Remote Control, 6 Speed Low Profile Enclosed Ceiling Fan with Reversible Motor for Bedroom Kitchen Living Room

I bought this to replace an old dusty but reliable ceiling fan that I have come to love and rely on for sleeping. I wanted to upgrade so of course, I came straight to Amazon. I was quickly reminded that all ceiling fans are ugly, so when I stumbled upon the “fandelier” option I was more than intrigued. I was a little unsure about the power of the fan, but I am thoroughly impressed by its abilities. There are 6 speeds and level 1 is gracious plenty… I’d say it’s like medium speed on the average ceiling fan… and level 6 is hurricane speed. Not only is she beautiful and the fan is top notch, but it’s all remote controlled. Light (on/off), fan (on/off, speed, forward and reverse) and a timer! It’s only been about 12 hours, but so far 10/10. Installation was pretty simple. It comes with all the things but I definitely recommend having a power driver on hand. The instructions were easy to follow and it comes with pictures (iykyk).PSA: Be sure to turn off your breaker and have someone who knows what they’re doing to install it. Be safe out there.

The light arrived undamaged but almost all of the crystal pieces came off in the box. You have to rewire them on and be very careful not to chip the crystal. It took me about 30 minutes to do so. The instructions we okay but could be more detailed. Unfortunately, this light beeps every time you press a button on the remote. We thought that just using the on/off switch on the wall without the remote would stop this beeping but it still beeps when you turn it on each time! The light also does not turn on immediately when switched on from the wall but takes at least a second as if it’s running through some startup program. The fan is also a bit small and only directs the air flow in a column downwards. Only on the highest speeds 5-6 do you start to feel some airflow around the room but still much less than a traditional ceiling fan. Maybe okay for a small room around 12x13 but nothing larger.

The PROS:This fandelier is stunning! I love the color and the amount of light it gives using 60 Watt bulbs. I will forewarn you that you do not need to purchase the suggested bulbs (they were hard to find), but it takes an E26 base and will need a shorter bulb. I found ours at Home Depot.The fan is quiet and gives PLENTY of airflow. I love the reverse feature as it gives a cooling breeze throughout the room. My room is a 13x14 and I think it looks great in this space.The fan will turn off when you turn off your light switch. I like this feature, it's sort of like a reset, so your fan only turns on when you want it on.The crystal part of the fan came pre-assembled, so we did not need to attach each crystal to the light fixture.The Cons:It was challenging to install, the instructions were not very clear in what order to do things. My husband figured it out eventually, but it took him about an hour and a half to install the fixture.I've used this fan for about a week and so far it's amazing!

We got this for my kids room, I feel this designe is very nice and safe for kids room. Very elegant look .I will get more for my living room and for my bed room soon.

The product is beautiful but did not work as expected

We purchased this fan/light for my daughter's family room, along with an actual fandelier for her living room. My husband installed the fan and said it was not as difficult as installing a large "bladed" fan. But as ceiling fans go, ceiling fans/lights are always a little tricky and two people were needed to complete the install. The light fixture is beautiful and the finish is nice too, even though there were some minor imperfections and part of the outside metal was bent inward. It is very thin metal, so I just pushed it back out. You have to add the crystals to the fan yourself. This took a little finesse and quite some time because the larger prism crystals fit a little tight around the outside of the light. We put the crystals on before we hung it, which I believe is the only way you can do it. As it was being hung, some crystals did fall off and some came loose, so I had to fix them after the install. Be sure to have something soft on the floor in case they drop while installing and wear the white gloves they give you to prevent fingerprint marks once the light is on. No extra crystals are given.I did expect more "cooling" of the room because of what other reviewers said. If you are standing directly below the light fixture, you will definitely feel the breeze. It does create quite a wind and on level three, is inaudible On level four, you can hear the whirring of the fan, but she keeps it on three because it is still pretty powerful. The breeze does not spread out as much as a regular bladed fan light does. It does help cool the room, just don't expect to feel a fan blowing on you if you have it in the center of the room and you are sitting on the couch. This, I am sure, some people may like, but I expected more direct wind based on other reviews. In my opinion, if you have air conditioning and just want to move air around the room, these fans will do it and keep your room cool overall. But, if you don't have air conditioning and need a more cooling type of fan, then go with a bladed fan that will create a wider air flow.We all love the light. We love the fan. It serves its purpose and works for my daughter in the room. It's pretty, looks expensive and takes the décor up a notch. She replaced a large ceiling fan with dark wooden blades and a dome light with this light fixture. It is a drastic improvement and makes the room look much brighter, larger, and updated. I recommend.

Major upgrade from the fan I used to have. It’s a beautiful fan, quiet and it doesn’t shake when it’s on.

Once the fan arrived, we opened it to find several crystals loose inside the box and one was missing. How do we get a replacement for this?
