This definitely adds a different flavour profile than regular store onion powder. I got this to refill my shaker. I liked the easy to open top and resealing. Seems like pretty standard powder, good small grind but not too fine.

purely my ignorance to blame here, but i thought i was ordering onion powder. This isn't onion powder at all, but powdered rondelles, or "country onions", a seed that grows on the threatened Afrostyrax lepidophyllus tree in Africa. They're absolutely delicious and taste somewhat like a cross between an onion and garlic - an excellent addition to basically any savory food really. Learned something new!
