Nice iron
It takes a little practice to get a good brand. Too hot or too long on the material will burn. Make sure you practice on scrap before you do the actual piece. Once you get the feel for it, it works great.

The iron does not work.
The iron only heated a very short time and now does not heat up at all, rendering the whole thing useless. When I try to return it, I keep getting "it is not returnable" -- granted it is personalized, but if the iron doesn't work, it is useless. Please help!Update: the company replaced the iron for me but the personalized disc that is supposed to leave the impression on the wood, does not burn entirely. It only partially burns the wood and looks terrible. Definitely not worth the price I paid.

Works OK, gets the job done
Takes a bit to warm up, about 15 minutes, I recommend having a batch ready so your not wasting a lot of scrap wood to test if it's ready on. This thing gets hot hot hot. Like glowing red hot. Singed the hair on my husband's fingers, but 2 people working together replacing each piece we got 60 stamps on wood done in no time. They turned out pretty good. I dunno how long it will last for future projects, it started smoking almost immidiately. It got done what I needed and has the potential to be used again. Highly recommend for crafting in batches. Would recommend a better model if you want something super reliable or for individual use per project. I wouldn't take my eyes off this plugged in or set it down at all after it warms up, luckily we were ready. The custom stamp itself was perfect

absolutely amazing
Yes it takes a bit of time to arrive after shipping, however, this is the 3rd one we have ordered from them and absolutely worth it. The quality is amazing and expedited shipping definitely speeds up the process and is pretty reasonable. We got the last order 11 days after ordering with expedited delivery. We will be ordering more in the future as well.

Awesome product
I’m impressed. After a few tries you can take the guesswork out of your branding. The basswood looks great at 400 degrees and 5 seconds. This takes branding to a whole new skill level. I’m happy. It works well. The temperature setting saves time and trouble. If you have pride in your creations it is worth the money.

Disappointing results
It is well-made. The problem was I had too many elements on the brand and it made it difficult (impossible) to get an even burn on wood. Fewer characters with different spacing would have been a better choice. I ordered another branding iron from the same company with half the characters but the iron used a different screw size.

Very nice
This is my first experience with branding irons. I did a lot of research, but pricing seemed to be all over the place. I puled the trigger on this one, and was not disappointed. I had them make a stamp of my own logo design for my business. They had to make some slight adjustments for stamp image quality, but they did an awesome job - I have no complaints. The iron is much easier to use than I had anticipated, but the instructions leave a little to be desired. I recommend spending some time with temperature settings on different materials before you use it on any production pieces.

Buyer beware
The iron caught on fire the first time I used it. The seller responded that I had the temperature set too high. It has an on/off switch built into the cord. There is no temperature setting. I just wasted $100.
