After searching for a pair of wellington boots just so that I could keep my feet dry when jet washing the garden and driveway I was told Hunter wellies are the best, but when I saw the price for a pair I wasn't sure I wanted to pay over £100 for a pair. Then I saw the reviews for these and as I'm a size 4 I thought I order a pair. They fit true to size and although I have wide feet the black ones were only available in a narrow size, they fit perfect even with a pair of thick socks and I have room round my calves too. Bargain for half the price! Delivery was really quick and I've already tested them out, feet remained dry.

The Hunter Wellies live up to the brand reputation. Absolutely perfect. Very happy with this product. Will last a long time and I am happy to buy them again in future. I will strongly recommend them.

These boots are so comfy, and easy to wear. Great for walking our dogs in the muddy field. My Son loves them.

These are great wellies. Admittedly they're not perfect, probably suffering from the move of fabrication to China - for instance one leg is slightly wider than the other, and I don't know how long they'll last, hence only 4 stars. However, they're wonderfully comfortable; I could walk (and have already walked) in them for hours. The cushioned insole makes walking a pleasure. Great traction, even scrambling up muddy slopes. Nice and waterproof so far. No socks falling down and scrunching up, no clammy feet. They're slightly on the chilly side this time of year although that's easily remedied with thermal socks, but if you're buying them mostly for the winter then you might want to get the neoprene lined ones. True to size (I'm a slightly large size 4 and got the size 4 and they fit perfectly, even with thick socks), and the legs are easily wide enough to shove my jeans into with room to spare. I also like the fact that the legs are shorter than full-sized adult ones so don't rub at the back of the knee; in fact, the length is just right. All in all, brilliant boots!

Without question, Hunter wellies are the best. The transformation was akin to that of Cinderella as she slipped into her glass slippers, suddenly becoming the dazzling princess. Prior to putting on her new wellies, my daughter was an ordinary (albeit startlingly beautiful and talented) 4 year old. However, with them upon her feet, she suddenly seemed taller, her blonde mane sleeker and her gait with the self-possessed assurance of a Grand National winning race horse. As she zoomed along the zip wire as if in slow motion, all eyes were on her and her new wellies. Even our fat, flea-bitten Labrador acquired a new air about him, a more superior lineage, as he walked alongside my daughter. Yes, without question I would recommend these boots: thick yet soft as butter rubber, well-made and beautifully designed. For just a few more pounds than other pairs (and trust me when I say that we've been through more than a few), you too could be that parent at the park, bursting with pride as your (dry footed) child frolicks merrily in the puddles, while all about stand open-jawed, wondering about the impressive country pile you'd undoubtedly be returning to. Yes, this could be you, with the slightly superior, yet kindly and interesting but mysterious smile playing upon your lips. Buy them or you're bound to regret it.
