My 96-year-old neighbor is as sharp as can be, loving to do crossword and other written puzzles. However, some arthritis in her hands makes using a regular sized pen uncomfortable. I bought these as a gift for her and it completely changed her ability to write. Now, the larger size and the comfort grip enable her to write easily and comfortably. She loves them. If you or someone you know could benefit from these larger and more comfortable pens, they are well worth buying. It certainly was a gift my neighbor loves.

They are large!I may add additional support as he hasn't much use of his hands.He served his Country and deserves to have items that help in everyday life. If you have a veteran in your life you understand.They came with 2 refills for each pen. Writes smoothly.I can't give end report yet.So far so good!

The pens meet the need for ones that need to be large and easy to hold. They are 8 inches long, but they are not as big as the first gloved image. Look at the picture of the pair of hands holding the black pen for a better indication of size.There are three soft, flat spots where you grip the pens, which does also make them easy to hold and control. The end is comfortable.They do have the "penholders" on them, but they are definitely not pocket pens. It could be good for clipping to something, but since it is plastic be careful of bending.The ink is what you would expect from a ball point pen. It looks ok, but if you magnify it there are streaks - it is not a great line like you get with gel or fine felt tip pens. On the other hand, they are ball point so you can write on carbon/duplicating paper (like a check book).It would have been nice if the color of the ink was the color of the pens.Basically they are typical ball point pens that happen to be oversized.

BIG pens! If you want to see where your pen is, this should work.

I thought I would like these pens. Because I have atteify in my right hand, I write better with large pens. But NOT these! They are made for a giant and I have large hands for a woman.

Good quality but the pictures of the pens make them seem much larger than they actually are

I bought these for my hubby who, due to a birth condition, has trouble with smaller pens. These are huge for me (I like smaller pens), but perfect for him! They are lightweight, but seem sturdy, and make writing much easier for him. And they come with a bunch of ink refills, which is great. Highly recommend.

I love these pens. They do all that I checked above. I have bad arthritis in my hands, and these large, light-weight pens are perfect to hold, and they write so easily, I barely have to press.
