Works well, completely blocks the light and has two ways to hang them. The only reason I deducted a star is because the description states that there is a cutting grid, there is not. The pen they include to mark for cutting marks but disappears within seconds. If you are looking for a fancy or elegant blackout shade, this is not it. However, for what it is and for the price, it works very well for us. I would recommend that when cutting you give an extra inch on the height and width to ensure complete blackout.

This is amazing! I wish I knew about this when I was in my last apartment. We have these on the windows under the blinds in our bedroom. They work so well it’s unreal. I usually flip them up and they stay rolled under the blinds during the day. Super light and easy to set up. It comes with a kit with everything you need to set it up.

It’s probably not the most esthetically pleasing blackout material but it serves its purpose & isn’t expensive. I have a bamboo shade on my glass door that leaks light so I added this to keep the light out & add privacy

Suction cups don't work well but otherwise very functional and very easy to cut with the provided tool. Smells like the Dickens, though, even after being left outside for two days.

When I first bought these they were the perfect solution for our east/west facing house that gets a tremendous amount of sun as the sun sets. It was impossible to put the baby down at night since it was beaming daylight through the blinds and would get SO hot. This helped not only keep the room totally dark, but it did cool the room by about 5 degrees.After about two weeks, the sun was back beaming through the shades. The heat completely melted all the sticky back backing on the Velcro pieces leaving a very gooey mess all over, and the blackout part to fall down. It’s horrible, sticky goo that slid down all over the glass of the window. After I clean this up, I might try command strips, but it’s going to take a ton of goo gone and a lot of patience. The suction cups it came with definitely won’t stay up long. The blackout part self is great. Just disappointed in the adhesive Velcro.
