Great road map.
This map book is 1.5 miles to the inch which is the best I've found (ignoring a huge set of OS maps). Yes, sat-navs are good too but they are not infallible. It is best to see the route on a map and then force your sat-nav to follow your preferred route. The map is best used in conjunction with a 4 miles to the inch map (eg the AA map) as you can then see the route as a whole, or in large chunks, or in detail over a smaller area. The Navigator map is ring bound, so that it is easily folded back for easier use, but it also causes the one issue I've encountered, which is that it becomes less eay to follow the particular road across the join. I would like to see the last 6-10 mm repeated on the adjoining page with a line down the page showing the actual join. This is done on other road maps. Yes, it would mean a few extra pages (in what is already quite a thick book) but I believe it would be worth it. Nonetheless, it is still 5 stars from me.

Brilliant
Iv had these maps since 2011,im on my 5th map now due to the use of them.theu are so detailed, same layout as google maps, cant always rely on satnavs.i personally use the map more than satnavs to make sure I know where I'm going then its im my head.I always recommend to new drivers to get this one over normal A-Z.

Best Road Atlas
When driving all over the country a Satnav does help, however This Truckers Atlas is an absolute must to carry. When roads get closed and the Satnav takes its time to devise another route this Atlas with its large scale just cannot be beaten.
