Lovely small 3 in 1 set
This is a cheap way to get buildings if you are starting a Lego village. I love the way that it is hinged and can fold out for ease of access but still folds in to make a complete 360 degree building (many more expensive sets are open at the back). It also changes the look of the building from the front if you keep it open. My favourite part is the noodle shop sign, a very clever use of parts. The icecream cart is cute (I thought at first it was Uncle Bulgaria sitting in his wheelchair, for those old enough to remember the Wombles). I highly recommend this set.

A great product
Ok it arrived a little late due I presume postage strikes etc.The product box was slightly damaged and very wet yes I know that we don't like using plastic but it would have kept the water out as the box was left out in the rain. All is dry now and no damage to items inside the box.Regards Eric

Great 3in1 set
Bought this set when it was on offer without high expectation. Turned out it's a great one, my 6yo enjoyed building and playing with it when it's built.

All in all it’s just another brick in the wall!
Pretty cool addition to my Son’s sets, his Lego city grows!

Lovely set piece, a little bit of tokyo
Nice set and I loved the theme and detail. Make a lovely set piece. Sadly though the build displayed on the box is only for the front of buildings, the back is open for you to move your Lego figures in. I did expect a enclosed building but I’m still happy regardless

Another superb 3in1 'Town' Creator set from Lego - Love it!
I love Lego, but that doesn't mean that i'll not try and cast a critical eye over a new set. I'm always trying to balance the pure fun and playability (and re-playability), with the equally important stuff, like 'value for money' and 'bricks colours / mix'. Before I think about any of that though, let me talk about the build.Lego's 31131 is another in the 'Creator 3in1' series. You don't get three full sets (sometimes a misconception), but what you do get is something more a kin to a 'traditional' Lego set, with enough bricks (and the instructions) that lets you pick from one of three different builds. In this case, the 'from of box' (1.) "Noodle Bar" or (2.) Bike Shop or (3.) Arcade. The brick count is fairly low (by modern standards), but there's enough interest in the different builds to keep me interested (as always, some clever techniques and details), and there's plenty of playability. It worth pointing out that when it says 'modular' that means that the build can be re-arranged (not just the different type of build), but the building (like the 'Noodle Shop' can be orientated as 'a corner plot' or as a 'standalone' (back to back) building. For some, 'modular' points towards the 'Creator Expert' and 'Street / Modular' series, which is significantly larger, more complex and more expensive; but as it's still 'minifigure' scale, so can be easily integrated with a 'town' or other sets (hey, it's Lego!)Personally I didn't find the build particularly taxing on the brain (or fingers), but I enjoyed that also, as I find Lego relaxing and a means to unwind (I don't always want builds that'll span hours and hours and take over a space). This makes this a nice, well considered, set.I particularly love the way little details in the different 'buildings' are achieved, be it the Noodle Shop's counter (banners and bowls), the Bike Shop's work area or the way that a 'poster' is re-purposed to create a screen for the 'Arcade'.I even like the choice of colours, as they're bold and 'chunky', without the fiddly bits of more advanced sets.I can easily see myself rebuilding this many times, until I can save up the monies to buy multiples of this set (and keep all the different builds for my town).Whether starting out, adding to a 'town' build, expanding sets or looking for a solid gift, this is a great little set. Easily recommended.
