Great Fun but Really Messy
First lets say the colour changing isn't up to much. The colour change happens when the dissolver sachet is put in at the end. As it's coloured purple salt that's no great surprise and most of the fun is gone when you are at the end stage to get rid of of gloop back to a waterish state. The good news though is after a year of gelli baff my children still love it and think it's great fun. My 7 year old prefers to fill containers in the kitchen and mess around with gloop than sit in it but it's still a hit.Our first experience of gelli baff was when a child brought a packet of this stuff with them for a sleepover. I hadn't seen any of the adverts so I had no expectations and just followed the instructions. Basically they just slid round on a 6cm layer of what looked like marmalade but they loved it. It wasn't so much gelli bath as gelli puddle, slide around and then shower.DO NOT BUY GELLI BAFF UNLESS YOU HAVE A SHOWER as it is impossible to clean the stuff off the kids otherwise.I have now used gelli baff about a dozen times - mainly for kids sleepovers. I wouldn't recommend it for birthdays or any time you are in a hurry as it does take ages to clean the bathroom and the kids afterwards and be prepared for combing goo out of hair. We always use 2 packets and in our water area you can add more water than the instructions advise. It does thicken up after 5 minutes or so. For 2 packets make sure you fill the bath (plus essential bath mat) to waist height first and then evenly sprinkle the power over the bath surface. I have a child stand at each end of the bath and sprinkle the power over their half of the bath. Don't sprinkle the powder high up else you end up wth rather worrying dust clouds. Also never put one sachet in mix, than add more water and another sachet. If you do that the second sachet will not mix and ends up as hard, horrible lumps. The dissolver is just salt I think (I just use normal table salt to dissolve small quantities I make up in pots and pans) and doesn't turn the goo exactly back to water so a shower is necessary. I also find it quite drying on the skin so use a moisturiser afterwards. My 4 and 9 year old love it and it is a huge hit with 8/9 year old sleepovers. They stay in the gelli bath for ages and the goo retains the heat so they don't get too cold.I can see why others hate it though: dust, lumpy goo the consistency of wallpaper paste (nappy water holding crystal technology), small volume if you use one packet, doesn't all dissolve afterwards and the dissolver turns the bath salty, goo crystals everywhere to clean up ...Really I should hate it but it is so much fun.

A good slime alternative
Really like the gelli baff products. My 3 year old loves playing with it. It’s a good sensory activity for indoors or outdoors. Rather than putting it in the bath I put some in a deep baking try and let my son play with cars and toys in it. It kept him busy for a good hour. It’s also good to wash away with the dissolving powder and drain friendly so no worries about blocking drains. Can be a little tricky to wipe up of flooring but does dissolve would recommend it in a wipeable surface if using indoors.

Kids loved it!
Big hit with the kids they loved it. All the Gel like bits do get everywhere though so does take a bit of cleaning up after. The second packet that is meant to disolve it all probably dissolved about half of it. It goes without saying that the children needed another bath after the gelli baff. All good fun!

My 4 year old loves this.
My 4 year old absolutely loved this. You do need about 10mins before they are due to get in to develop the jelly. Then when ready to get out you add the second step sachet to dissolve the jelly. My 1 year old son really disliked the feel of it and had to get out.

Great fun
Great fun. Makes a lot more than you think so use sparingly! Freaked out the kids do we used it in big bowls in the garden instead or in the bath! Lots of fun scooping and adding water

Absolutely love this stuff
Absolutely love this stuff, however the other half can't bear to touch it. Child loves playing in it, only downside is that it does tend to cool the bath a little quicker than it seems to in a normal bath of water. Easy to revert back to water, although some residue is left so if you have a bath that easily clogs it may be best to avoid.

Fun for the kids
My son loved these he had so much fun in the bath with this. Easy to use. Hours of fun. Easy to clean afterwards. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to make Bath time more fun. We have also used these in a paddling pool in the garden where both my children could play in the Gelli baff. Thank you so much for such a excellent product.
