Very well made solid construction including the installation hardware. This is not lightweight cheap plastic. I would definitely recommend!

I love the way it looks, style goes well with the house. Just have to make sure the plastic doesn’t change color or get dirty. But overall looks great !!!

I ordered 6, they arrived quickly and I am so impressed with the heft and quality. The metal brackets are solid! I need to drill a whole in the top back corner of each to make use of the self watering feature. They supplied a rubber plug.Very pleased. I want to paint my shutters before I install and fill with flowers. But now I’m excited to do so!

This is a very handsome and sturdy window box. It's made of double-walled hard plastic and its appearance is a significant step up from the basic window box. It's held securely in place with 3 metal L-shaped brackets that not only support the box from the bottom, but also clip over the top lip from the back to keep it from moving.I have 3 criticisms that keep it from getting it 5 stars. The first is that each bracket attaches to the wall of the house via 2 long screws; the brackets have screw holes that allow no play or readjustment of the bracket to get it plumb. It would have been better to use slots that would allow the installer to shift the brackets a bit before tightening down the screws. The second is that the brackets are a bronze color while the box is white; when the brackets come over the lip of the back wall they're quite obtrusive. Obviously when plants grow up in the box, this will be hidden, but since I leave the boxes up year round, I'm going to have to paint the brackets to make them blend in better in the off season. The third is that the 3' length is the outside length of the box; since the double-walled construction is very thick and the top rim of the box flares out like a molding, the interior dimension of the box is well below 3' and the planting area actually looks a little disproportionate. You can see this even in the photo included with this item's listing, but I didn't notice it until the boxes got up on my windows and didn't entirely fit in a visually pleasing way.On the whole, however, I like these boxes quite well.

I purchased these to liven up the windows, in my backyard, and that they did. I bought mine in white. These look so sharp, and classy. I also have the added bonus of now looking out of my bedroom windows and seeing beautiful flowers. I had my contractor attach them, but he said it was not hard to do. they have brackets, that attach to the window and then to the box, so you can pull the box off, if needed. They are roomy enough to house several plants. They do not have a decorative bracket, for the bottom, but they look so great, as is, I don't feel that they are needed. And since they are made of a material that is not wood, they are easy to wipe clean and will never rot or need painting. Also, they have a drainage hole, which is important, so that the plants do not have root rot, and so that they do not fill with water and become too heavy. I also like the detail, that looks carved out, on the front. I would highly recommend these!

This window box arrived earlier than expected and is beautiful! It is molded plastic but looks classy and sturdy. We haven't hung it yet but am anxious to see how it looks with trailing plants. I also may plant herbs in it since it will hang from the kitchen window over the sink. Its rather expensive for plastic but I think it will hold up well and look good for years. I have one in the front of my house that I have had for years but this one is better looking. I ordered the decorative brackets which haven't arrived yet. I was a bit confused as to which ones go with this box so hope I ordered the right ones. UPDATE: window box was easy to install and we love it! I planted three different herbs in it. I should take the screen off the window like in the movies and cut herbs from inside the house. Don't you love watching movies and they never have screens in the windows but keep them open?! I think I will keep the screens on so the bugs and mosquitos don't come in!

I love that it’s plastic ! All I have to do to keep it white is hose it down.It’s a great size allowing for rocks at the bottom and layers of compost and soil to create a great environment for annuals.My husband (who normally doesn’t read directions) was able to hang these babies up in one day with no problem at all. Our home has hardiboard siding which needs the extra step of adding strappings and he said it was still very easy.
