Good as a right angle, not so good for accurate length measurement
As a right angle this is good. The stock is 170mm wide. The thickness of each 'gripping' part of the stock is 5mm. In total, the stock height is 11.5mm. The thickness of the blade is 1mm. It is nicely finished with no rough edges. As a right angle reference I like this. For my needs, it gives a secure grip against the reference edge and is easy to keep stable. As a measurement device it is not so good. The graduations are printed on (rather than etched) and each mark is very thick, so that makes it hard to determine the exact point of the measurement. The graduations are 0.5mm incorrect . So where accurate measurement is important, I have to lay an accurate ruler over the blade.Finish is smart with no offensive rough edges. I think it is about right for the price - much better than the cheap items available and anything available in my local DIY store, but I would not call it a high-end precision instrument. For home DIY and crafts this is perfect.

Excellent
I saw this on a Domestika video being used by a woodworker and after a bit of digging realised it was this one. I’m glad I did because of the lip on the base, the square sits perfectly on the workpiece. The problem of keeping a standard square ‘square’ disappears. My go to square.

Not well made
The unit looks good with all of the important stuff and some handy measurement indicators for the 45 degrees and the additional depth of the edge stop for example.Problem is that edge stop. It protrudes beyond the end of the triangle so it's not square. You can't measure or gauge a correct right angle with it, or a straight edge. The inside square is fine but the outside is no use really. Shame from Bahco.

High quality
High quality that you would expect from Bahco.

Good idea too cheaply made
The edge stop is cheaply tack welded at just two points is loose and gets looser with useA real shame as it is a good idea but has no accuracy

A neat tool.
Although quite lightly constructed, because the whole blade is cut from one piece of steel there is no chance of going out of adjustment unlike traditional riveted units. The stock is a piece of H-section plastic so the security of the bond of this to the steel will be crucial.

Yes it's actually square
As I expected with Bahco tools the quality is there. Most importantly it is actually square. So many aren't.Update March 2020. I've just bought another, it's a great accurate square. The old one has lost some of the white painted markings so it's hard to use it to measure accurately now. This new one is going to have clear nail varnish painted over the measurements this time so they don't rub off so easily
