Quality tap - easy to use - a handsome addition to the kitchen
Already having a number of Hansgrohe taps in the house, we thought that this would prove a good replacement for a failing Adobe tap. We were not wrong. The tap is a delight to look at and to use. The smooth lines are a pleasure to touch, and the flow of water just right. Highly recommended at a very good price.

Best tap on the market
By far the best tap I have owned, a bit pricey but that's fine if the quality is there. solid, functional, not just pretty, easy to clean. Water does not splash all over the place on landing in the sink.Considering how often the tap is used daily, well worth it.

It’s polished, not brushed as per description
Got the tap today, haven’t installed yet as the description of the product is not accurate. It’s polished, rather than brushed as described. Interestingly, some other hansgrohe kitchen taps are noted as “shiny” on Amazon. To me this is “shiny”, and brushed is equivalent to matt. Haven’t decided yet whether to return it or not, but the product didn’t meet expectations upon unboxing.Update. I changed the rating from 2 to 4 stars assuming it’s still a good quality product and the discount off MSRP is good, but the product itself is en route back to Amazon. I ordered a different model from stainless steel (Talis M54) hoping it won’t be “shiny” as described but proper brushed steel.

Brilliant tap!
Thank you Amazon for supplying this tap at an affordable price - just! I agonised long and hard before ordering for 3 reasons. First the cost is high considering I don’t have a designer kitchen and it was to be fitted to a 25 year old stainless steel sink, second, the single lever is on the right and I am left handed and third, is that spray just a gimmick? I am thrilled to report that this tap is worth every penny! I wash up by hand and this tap makes the job so much easier with the spray set to aerate for the prewash rinse, this setting also produces a massive amount of bubbles from the washing up liquid, I use less than half. Though some reviewers said the tap could be the installed with the lever on the left my plumber installed it on the right because that allows a 150 degree swivel which I need for a 11/2 bowl sink. It is no problem because the tap sits so high there is no obstruction to reaching across and you can see the red/blue gauge for water temperature. It runs off a combi boiler and the pressure is fine. Whilst it was bought for practical reasons it is solid and the quality is evident so it doesn’t half smarten up the kitchen! It’ll be Hansgrohe for me from now on.

Good value for money
This is a very sturdy tap and the look of it really suits my new kitchen. The spray function is very easy to operate, and the tap is high enough that I can easily put tall vessels beneath it, although the pull-out hose is also useful for filling taller items. I do have a slight problem in that the tap swivels back to the left too readily rather than stay in the position that I turn it to, but I suspect this is something to do with the way it has been installed and hopefully can be sorted out by my plumber. I do recommend this tap and I'm very glad I didn't go with the option recommended by my kitchen designer and which would have cost in excess of £400; I doubt that her recommendation would have been any better than this Hansgrohe tap.

Lovely Tap!
It is elegant, really easy to fill under the spout. The smaller kids especially find it easy to get drinks under it.As with all HansGrohe taps (we have two in the kitchen and one in a bathroom), it's a quality product with great attention to detail in manufacture. You're probably paying a little bit extra for the quality of the fittings under the sink...which make it a dream to fit.I am not an expert plumber but I've fitted each HansGrohe tap in less than 30 minutes including tidying up after myself..the fittings make it so easy.If you like the look of it, buy it, you won't be disappointed.

The design I was looking for, but...
This will be a long feedback, but I feel worthwhile for a product that I would recommend.I searched for long enough to try and find a tap that has a tall swivel column, thereby reducing the forces applied to the internal sealing rings that the short column versions experience. These forces result in the failure of the sealing rings and the tap leaks around the swivel, which is unattractive and undesirable. This tap appears to fit the bill, but only time will tell if my theory is to be proven; it has a smooth lever operation (both for water flow and hot/cold mixing) and smooth swivel. The problem that I faced was that the tap is fitted with small bore hoses (and presumably small bore internals), which loses pressure and therefore on a hot supply with gravity feed head tank in the loft of a bungalow the flow of water was a trickle. I overcame this problem by installing a pump on the hot water supply, but this more than doubled the cost of replacing the old leaking Franke tap. One other problem was adapting the G3/8 female hose fittings to my 15mm copper supplies, which was achieved by using 15x10 compression straight couplings (the thread of the male part of the 10mm end matches the G3/8 female hose connection perfectly (parallel thread and face to face seals)). The price of the tap was great, especially when you consider that it came direct from Germany (Post paid!), and cheaper than the same item from any UK supplier that I tried. Delivery time was quite acceptable, perhaps slightly longer than some UK suppliers, but then for the additional price I would have expected next day before noon! So, in summary, for those with at least 1 bar water pressure this tap is recommended and for those with less than 1 bar, I would still recommend the tap and recommend that you install a pump (described as a Shower Pump).
