Majestic International Men's Cotton Basics Nightshirt

Like many others, I ordered this to wear while recovering from abdominal surgery.I am 6' tall, 225 lbs. The sleeve length is perfect, and the overall length is just how I like it, about mid calf. The fit in the shoulder is a bit loose, and took some getting used to. I also ordered a couple of the Del Rossa brand in two different sizes. This one has become my favorite of the three. The material is very light weight. This is a summer garment, probably not good for the colder months.I highly recommend night shirts for abdominal surgery recovery. They should sell these in the hospital gift shops!

It is OK but it is HUGE, really HUGE. I always order L or XL from other brands and they fit very well. The one came in S/M or L/XL so I ordered the L/XL. I have a friend who weighs 325 pounds and he can wear it. I weigh about 175 and my wife and I could both get in it at the same time. I have to roll the sleeves up about three times to get my hands out. Other then size it is ok, not outstanding but ok.

I'm a broad shouldered, 6'0" 215 pounds. I ordered the L/XL size, and it fits as it should--loose, full freedom of movement without binding, but not baggy. The material is very similar to basic cotton bedsheets. The gray color will show food stains (ooops!) but I was able to get them out with pre-wash spray. It's a nice garment that you can wear alone or over PJ's. I machine washed, then dried it about 2/3 thirds of the way, then hung up to finish air drying. No shrinkage.

I purchased this for my Dad as a gift. At the time of purchase I only had the choice of two sizes: small/med, or large/XL. The med/ large I heard about must've been out or no longer available. My dad's not a large man at all but anything "small" may be too uncomfortable especially to sleep in. He says it's very comfortable. It's quite large though. Very nice looking, feeling, and quite comfortable material. I'd have given it 5 stars if not for the very very large LARGE!

I like the fit, weight and consistency of the night shirts.

I just received this shirt and have been wearing it for the first time the past few nights. The sizing of the shirt seems to run slightly large, though it's not a problem since I find a loose nightshirt more comfortable. The workmanship and materials seem quite good. The fabric is just a bit less soft than I prefer, but the shirt hasn't been laundered yet and I assume that the fabric will be softer after washing.

One gray and one blue are not quite enough for hot Southern summers to get through a week without washing. Wear well, do not require ironing, do not fade or fray after 2 yrs of wear. Would love a navy or lighter gray, or striped or plaid, one can only hope.

I would have rated this night shirt with 5 stars, but the smell of the dye when it arrived was very strong. I had to wash it immediately. It smelled toxic. Other than that, it appears to be well made. I will see if it stands the test of time.I have 2 suggestions for Majestic International:1. Use healthier dyes.2. Add XX-large. I am a woman who loves to wear loose fitting men's night shirts to sleep in. I need more room in the chest area.

feels a bit weird.

I've worn nightshirts for years now and was glad to find one like this that's not too heavy, but warm enough for the long winter nights.

I bought this item as a gift and would definitely recommend it.Great classic look, nice fabric and qulity of work. Little bit pricey.

OTHER THAN BEING KINDA PRICEY IT FIT RIGHT AND IS COMFORTABLE TO SLEEP IN.

Very comfortable, buy it.
