Got it yesterday just in time for our weekend BBQ - tried it out on a 2" thick Costco steak, looking for medium rare, which is difficult to do without a thermometer when it's so thick - set it to 131 degrees (app works great but definitely learn how to use it before needing to use it - short learning curve) - came out perfect. I would encourage the sellers to do two updates - not that impact the quality of the wireless thermometer, they don't, but a clear mark on the shaft where they suggest you insert it to at least that depth, would be better than the current faint mark - easier to see. The other thing that needs more explanation than anything is how to charge it up - the thermometer can only be inserted one way - but the directions don't tell you that - there is a very tiny slot on the end of the plastic shank, and it has to go into that open end of the slot properly or it won't charge - it took me several tries to figure it out but it doesn't seat well unless you insert it properly. I suspect some folks will struggle with this but once you learn (and remember!) it's great - 5 mins to charge, last about 4-5 hours before a new charge is needed. The primary feature here is 1) wireless, and 2) use of your phone for an alert when you have hit the mark . Those are the real reasons to buy this because it works perfectly and is exactly what I wanted for grilling and Turkey day!

Got my husband one of these as a Father’s Day gift. On first use the battery didn’t last more than 30 mins. We let it charge a full day the next time we used and it kept disconnecting no matter how close we were to our smoker. My husband was sitting only 8ft away when it went “out of range” and decided to give up and pull out his manual probe. Wanted to love it but i’ll have to keep looking for a better one definitely do not recommend this product.

Overall I am very happy with the MOFWEB Probe T Smart Wireless Thermometer and will use it mainly for smoking pork butts, turkey, chicken, and other thicker meats. The use time is completely in line with my expectations, and I think this thing is also very suitable for gifting to elders and friends.PROS: Easy-to-install app for the device(any phone's or pad or others) and instant Bluetooth connection to the thermometer probe. Good range and able to monitor food temps from inside the house. Quick charging time. Simple and clear app design.CONS: The probe is thick at 5.5mm and is 125mm in total length with a 70mm insertion into meat to avoid damage to the internal components from high heat. This will make it difficult to use on thinner cuts of meat.BY THE WAY,Contacting their support team when encountering problems can get fast and effective solutions, and I think it is respected for me as a customer, that's good team.

Setup was easy! I had an issue when I first bought it but the seller reached out and didn't waste time resolving my issue and sent me another one. Great product for the price!

Besides what other reviewers said (terrible range and maybe 2 hours of battery life) which leaves it almost unusable. The probe temperature didn't work either. It was stuck on freezing (32 degree Fahrenheit) while in the middle of a cook.Unfortunately I only tried it for the first time months after the warranty period on Amazon.UPDATE: While the product doesn’t work, the seller went out of their way to contact me and issue a full refund.

I got this product for the purpose of trying to get the temps of my steaks just right. For that purpose, it does the job very well and is overall fairly easy to use. I previously bought a more expensive brand and found this to work comparable to that. Most importantly, the app was easy to setup and did not require an email to sign up, as most companies require that nowadays. Overall the product works well and if I had to make a complaint, I would say it is somewhat difficult to get the probe out of the case. A great wireless probe that works well and does its job.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Bought for my father for Christmas gift he was unable to connect to phone. It is now Easter and I tried to connect to my phone still nothing. No troubleshooting available and no customer service available.
