Q: Can the recordered mp3 files be played on other devices

Hi there, I was sure of my answer before starting to type this reply to your question - but today, to make absolutely sure, I decided to actually test a couple of MP3s recorded on the Sangean. I popped the MP3s onto a PC and then double-clicked them to auto-fire up Winamp (my trusty old, but good computer audio player0 and I can confirm that the MP3s played perfectly well. So, yes, the MP£s created on the Sangean seem like normal MP3s to me. In fact, using "MediaInfo" to analyse one of the MP3s it reported the following: 192 kb/s, 44.1 kHz, 2 channel, MPEG Audio (Version 1) (Layer 3) Which seems pretty 'normal' to me. I seem to remember that you can specify the recording quality and according to the manual you can select 64kbps, 128kbps & 192kbps. I hope that helps you with your question.

Q: Does this come with a uk power supply?

Yes, but mine has us pins, so you need something like a shaving adapter.
