Woodland Tools Co. Heavy Duty Machete with Sheath, Parang, Bolo, Clearing Brush, Tall Grasses, Hunting, Camping (11-8002-100)

Received this machete yesterday and immediately went outside and tried it out. I was impressed by the fact it was sharp right out of the sheath and I was chopping brush and weeds with ease. The tool has some heft to it but not heavy by any means. It appears to be a quality tool and the non slip handle is a plus. It just feels comfortable in my hand. The included lanyard was also a nice touch. The sheath is pretty nice as well, as its made of a heavier nylon material. It should last for some time. This appears to be a quality tool and I expect it to outlast me. The lifetime warranty is another plus. I’m very happy with my purchase.

It's looks may scream "mall ninja" but it's actually a comfortable in the hand work machete with a nice medium to heavy blade. Cutting a path through woody perennial invasives like barberry, multiflora rose, wineberry, bittersweet all no problem.

Great tool that works as intended. Not the sharpest out of box but that’s an easy fix. I wouldn’t buy this item from this specific seller because he’s given multiple people these tools without the sheath. What am I to do carry this giant machete in the woods while hunting? Yea, I don’t think so, he probably sells the sheath separately even though he claims it’s included. Don’t purchase from this vendor, a sheath to this machete is as important as a shell to a turtle.

I'm a surveyor and rely on my various machetes to hold an edgeA few minutes with Accusharp and razor edge.

It slices through 1" branches with ease, the handle is very comfortable to hold and it feels solid no flexing when you are using it. Well worth the money

Heavy and strong not great for swinging all day but takes out thick brush great.

I really like the shape and weight of the blade but the cheap rubber handle was already flaking off with the first use.
