Good for the money

I bought this pocket watch for my partner as a 15th anniversary gift. It's beautiful, all the little details are amazing. It looks exactly as in the pictures. My partner couldn't be happier.

Love the watch just what I wanted

I love it, good quality, perfect for a gift

Wanting to live the life of an old timey gentleman in the 1500's who might be a member of Hydra (of "Hail Hydra!" fame) I whacked off an order for the the octopus version of this pocket watch.It arrived in good time, and upon cracking it open I was pleasantly surprised by its looks. The thing looks great. I was less surprised by it's overall cheapness. The thing is very lightweight with a very plastic hollow feel to it. That said, it is very inexpensive and the old adage "you get what you pay for" applies heavily, but it does look good.It comes with two chains, a neckchain (which has links not fully closed, so you'll need pliers to close them or else you may find the thing coming apart), and a belt loop one which is of better quality, just...The box came with no instructions but the listing on Amazon does. I originally thought that this thing was just a reproduction and it wasn't meant to keep time, but reviews and the listing suggested otherwise. It turned out that I did not remove a little plastic tab in the crown. Once I removed that, it started working again. However, I can't rely on the thing to accurately report the time as it keeps slipping a couple of minutes all the time, and I then have to move the hands back to where they should be.This is a great looking piece, I really like the look of it, but the overall quality isn't great, time keeping is not good, BUT, as long as you accept that then this is actually a nice thing to have.3 out of 5 seems harsh but I really want to give 3.5.

I got this for my son for standing up with me in my wedding. It looks very nice and seems durable.
