We got this chair because our newborn had some reflux issues and we find he does a lot better the more he can sit upright. It's a bit big for a newborn. We have found that when we lie him in it with his feet over the shorter side, so he makes kind of a U-shape with his butt in the seat, it really helps him poop with less distress! Which is great. 4 stars because I wish the shape of the back was more a "U" than an "n", like that it had a place for his head to rest - he's constantly lolling to one side or the other.

I bought this pillow as a chair for my baby in hopes it would help him sit up; it did not. However, I found that laying him in it sideways just about simulated the feeling of being held in my arm, and he slept soundly in a position that was on his back but different than flat in the bassinet which I loved since we were concerned about flat spots forming at the back of the head. We also found that sitting him on the top like he was tubing was a comfy position for him as well. And of course his legs could go thru the leg holes, but he slumped over as you can see. We added a little pillow at the back to help him but it was only marginally better. I still live this thing though (and so does he). 🙂

It did! He is four months old but can sit with minimal support I tossed him in this clipped a couple toys to the front and with a little help from bluey he was quiet for a little while and all was well. Very soft. Not for babies who can not sit up at all yet. Leg holes are big and I’m just going to throw it in the washer to clean easy enough

Not too bad, a bit fluffy but not too comfy for babies still sitting with support.

It would be great for a smaller baby. The description says 3-12 months my son is 4 months and his legs barely fit and the back isn’t as supportive as the photos look. I make it work but it’s just not what I thought it would be.
