Dressystar Women's 50s Vintage A-line Rockabilly Dress Cap Sleeve Party Swing Dress

This (lemon print) one has just arrived and I’m so pleased with it, I’m ordering 4 more in different prints.I’m 5ft 6 and fluctuate between 8-10 and I ordered a M.It just covers my knees, which is a must for me. There is plenty of room in it, which makes the waist look smaller when you tie the belt nice and snug. I could have gone for an S and it would have fitted fine, but I want this to wear both in warm weather and on warm hospital wards, so I’d prefer it not to be super-fitted.These are great value; lovely print on cotton and well finished. Perfect 50’s day dress.The only way they could be improved would be by adding pockets and making them slightly longer- it’s impossible to find any of these dresses in princess length.

So I just received this dress today and I have to say I’m really impressed with it. I’m a size 18/20 with 36K cup boobs and I ordered the 3XL so was seriously worried about whether or not it would fit but suffice to say it does and it looks lovely. It’s a little creased from being in transit but that won’t matter once I’ve washed and ironed it. The material is pretty good and whilst it might seem stiff when you first touch the material it does have some give in it which is great. Was definitely worth every penny!

This is a lovely dress at a great price. I am a UK size 12-14 and based on the measurements provided by the seller, and on reading feedback from other buyers, I ordered the large. It is a very comfortable fit but a bit on the loose side for me. Happily, this is fixed with the tie it comes with, and I also have a tan leather belt that goes nicely with it. As a pear shape, I like my dresses to be a bit more fitted on the top so if I had my time again, I'd probably get the medium. I am sadly one of those people for whom it is rare to be able to find clothes that fit well online because it all depends on the cut, which is why I only take a gamble occasionally. This dress was worth the gamble, for sure, but my advice to other buyers would be to order a size that you normally are in tops. But all in all, it's a really lovely dress, very eye-catching on and I'm really looking forward to wearing it more when the weather warms up. I would happily buy more dresses in this style and range from the seller (but I'll order a medium next time!).

This dress is exactly what I wanted to wear at the Goodwood Revival, material very nice and the pattern perfect, the only thing I would say is that the first dress I ordered was too tight across the bust , I am a size 16, there was no problem in changing the dress to a 2 XL which fits perfectly

I was fairly sceptical about this dress being so cheap, it came in a very small bag, and I thought 'oh here we go, cheap and nasty' it was nothing of the sort. I ordered XL , as I am a 14 bottom half and a 16/18 top half (thank you god !!) it fitted perfectly. The fabric is cotton and not too thin. I also ordered a petticoat to fill It out. It looks so nice although perhaps not as full a skirt as in the picture. I am looking forward to wearing it . And will be ordering at least one more ( or maybe two!!!) for work .

I ordered the XXL as other customers stated that this would fit an 18/20. It fitted me but was a bit snug as I carry my weight around my middle. A XXXL might’ve been better but wasn’t available in the colour I wanted; blue red floral. It should be OK with a control body underneath though. it’s a lovely A line shape and comes with a tie belt and the fabric is a stretchy poplin style material rather than a scuba or jersey which I like. Overall, a nice flattering classic dress which won’t go out of style.

The material is very thin.. it'll need a slip. Think it was a bit expensive for the quality of the fabric.. the size is good. The ribbon to tie into a bow is a bit short.

[Not yet worn]Colour, fit and length as expected and wanted.I wear a 12 generally, a 14 in dresses and jackets, and bought a size large.Remember it will fit better if you wear a correctly fitting bra!The neckline is high.Looks okay without a petticoat (day time) and works well with a petticoat (dancing time!).I bought Grace Karin Women's 50s Petticoat Skirt, Navy blue Medium.This also comes in Royal Blue.The sash belt is slightly shorter than I expected but I will probably wear a coordinating colour belt anyway; there are no belt loops.The seam where the belt is is quite high, but should be fine.[I will amend once worn]

My Daughert wear this dress for her confirmation last Sunday, the size is perfect, modest and cute.

I love this dress. It is well made with a good thick material. Better than I thought. It fits me well and I received so many compliments on it.

It’s a very comfortable dress . I love it .But ……..I had to get the waist Altered to fit meproperly. It’s a very fitted waist . But the alterations I got done on it was perfectly done . Fits me well and very comfortable to wear . Wash in cold water only . Do Not put into the dryer! Only hang it up to dry . It will shrink if put into the dryer . It will not loose shape or fit when hang it to dry !!! It will if you put it into the dryer on warm heat !!!On cool damp dry , then it shouldn’t shrink at all. I would definitely buy these dresses again though!!!!😃 there beautiful and have some stretch to them which I love !! I own 2 of these and 3 more that are very similar to this style !!! I LOVE ❤️ These Styles ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This dress is worth every penny. Fits perfectly and material is quality! Will purchase in a different color.
