I am glad that Amazon reminded me that I have to review this purchase as these small "Golf Ball" sized Light bulbs are a revelation. Firstly they are very reasonably priced, to be honest, having now used them I would happily pay more for them than the asking price. Like most people these days I have grown used to a little darkness in my life since the advent of the Low Wattage Bulb, they are slow to light, some taking as much as, ten to twenty minutes to reach the required brightness. Even then they rarely give out the amount of light suggested on the box. Also they tend to be rather large bulbs, arches or spirals that can often be seen above table lampshades or hanging down from ceiling fittings. These small bulbs, however, do exactly what it says on the box. Firstly they are small, about the size of a golf ball or perhaps a little smaller, they are only five watt's and so are cheap to run but emit an instant, bright light when turned on(no waiting for ages until the light "Ramps up") and the light emitted easily matches that stated. I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I would be reviewing or excited by the purchase of "Light Bulbs" but here I am. My house is brighter despite the fact that I am saving money. I have bought another pack of ten since buying the originals to populate my other lamps. "Winter is Coming" as Ned Stark would say and these are a great buy to keep the darkness at bay.

After a few months one or two of these bulbs stopped working and I accepted them as faulty but still fine for the price.Now less than a year and a half later and most of the bulbs are gone and just do a weird flicker once in a while.Having run the most extreme scenario calculations I have found that I could not have used these bulbs to their expiration limits as suggested in the products further information, I don't even get to half the expected hours had I had them on constantly for the past year and a half.It's worth spending a bit more to get higher end bulbs that will last the expected time.

I have LED bulbs in every fitting in my house, that's probably over a hundred.These are the only bulbs that we have had to replace. They seem to last about 12-24 months in a fitting that is turned on once every day for about 6 hours. That is awful for an LED bulb.Not buying VINSUN again.

Waste of money as have had three fail without getting close to the claimed lifespan. There would be seem to be lots of issues with led bulb reliability in general so maybe unfair to just focus on Vinsun (but these are the ones that have failed for me) and would not buy again.

Bought 8 in March 2017 (22 months). Only 2 continue to work. Not even in high use areas. Great while they worked but not durable enough. LED lights are a great idea but I have been disappointed with durability. Only ones that seem to last are the more expensive ones that I've bought. Perhaps they will be more cost effective in the long term.

Unpredictable results with these bulbs... in the ceiling light I bought them for, they just trip the circuit breaker every time. In a standalone lamp they work sometimes, but not always. Can't explain why, bulbs aren't generally a difficult thing to diagnose?! Will be sending back.

Bought theses bulbs as they were recommended to go with the lamp I ordered however when set up the bulbs lasted for 5 mins and 2 mins then died don't know if it's bulbs or lamp . Cannot contact seller as no option to do this

Very good indeed. I was holding my breath expecting them to arrive broken but they were all in one piece and in good working order - really carefully packed. I will definitely buy these again.
