I didnt want to spend £100's on an electric hedge cutter. This product makes quick work of a hedge with long sharp blades and quality handles. It's so much more reasonably priced when comparing to a noisey battery or petrol cutter or paying a gardener.

I'm a pro gardener as a profession. These are definitely good shears and tear through hedges and even use them to edge lawns on occasion when I forget my edging shears. Good quality blade and nicely weighted! would highly recommend.

After much research, I chose these shears. When they arrived, the tips were very slightly open, though the blades were closed - after a while I realised the plastic stop pads in the handles were causing this. I then realised they would bed in with time. Another owner confirmed this, that the tips move closer together with use as the stop pads bed in / wear in. This is very very clever design. For the size they are very light. I have hunted extensively for wavy shears to cut bundled straw for thatching. Most wavy shears are not wavy enough to hold the straw in place while cutting. However, this wavy design looks like it may do the trick being deeper than other shears, especially on the first two wavy dips, which should hopefully hold the straw in place. (This principle should also hold true for hedge trimming). The one famous shears used by thatchers is made by GK, (or is it CK), but clocks in at over £60 in some shops. At under £20, I think these are worth a try. I am hoping to learn thatching as I repair my roof ridge myself. I have given a 4 star rating as I haven't used them yet, but am very impressed by the design - time and use will tell. I may be back to upgrade it once Ive used them.Update - I now realise that different people have the tips in varying positions, and some say they move closer together with use. I also notice my blades catch very slightly at the first wave near the pivot end.

Great shears, best pair I've had and used so far. Blades so sharp you can cut grass cleanly.

These shears are perfect for me. There very lightweight and easy to use. Very sharp and the shape of the edges make cutting spot on.

I would recommend these shears to anybody. I bought these as a replacement for a pair that got stolen. Excellent value for money and promptly delivered by a cheerful, friendly driver. What more could you want?

sturdy, sharp - no messing with these. And i got them for £8 instead of full price altho had to wait a month to get them!!

These are excellent quality. I'm able to cut branches that are approx. 40mm in diameter with relative ease! It's worth buying another pair just to have as a spare. They come in a nice matt black finish.

A protezione delle lame un robusto foglio trasparente di plastica fissato al cartone.COME E’ FATTO: Il troncarami di Fiskars “lopper, bypass S” modello L28 ha manici lunghi cm. 40 in metallo nero e impugnature in materiale plastico sempre nero con profili arancioni (nero e arancione sono tipicamente i colori dei prodotti Fiskars, notissima azienda finlandese). Le lame, con spessore di mm. 4, ricavate nel metallo (acciaio inossidabile ricoperto con materiale antiaderente), hanno un’apertura massima di cm. 5. Le lame bypass, una ad uncino e l’altra diritta, sono unite da una particolare vite con dado che permette un movimento fluido seppur consistente. Nello specifico la lama ad uncino passando davanti alla controlama diritta, seziona la parte da tagliare a mò di forbici, garantendo un taglio netto e preciso. Nel braccio della lama non uncinata è posizionato un supporto ferma corsa circolare sempre in metallo nero. In entrambi i manici sono presente fori di buon diametro da utilizzare per per appendere l’utensile.Le lame bypass robustissime e molto taglienti per la loro conformazione assicurano un taglio preciso e potente su rami con un diametro massimo di 35 mm. Il marchio “Fiskars” è messo in bella evidenza su uno dei manici.A COSA SERVE: Potare rami di notevole spessore con questo troncarami è molto facile sia per la buona lunghezza dei manici che permettono di applicare uno sforzo minimo per ottenere il taglio, sia per la particolare copnformazazione delle lame. Il peso non eccessivo (gr. 900) permette di lavorare a lungo senza stancarsi eccessivamente.COSA NE PENSO: Materiali ottimi per una qualità che non si discute. Disign accattivante con il nero dominante. Potente e di facile utilizzo, particolarmente adatto alla potatura di rami verdi.Prezzo € 27,90 (Ottobre 2021).

Outil Basic qui fait très bien son job, très bonne coupe....je recommande sans soucis ce coupe branche, seul regret on ne peut pas affûter, on ne peut pas changer la lame, c'est du jetable....comme tout....
