I wear flare pants a lot but bike to class so this ankle strap is super convenient. Bonus that it’s recycled material. Order comes with one strap, you only need the one for the side that your bike chain is on. Good price too!

I've gone through a few of these straps, and this is definitely my favorite so far (the others have been generally lost/fallen off). I use this when I ride my bike to work to prevent my pant leg from flapping around and potentially getting caught in my chain. I'm a skinnier guy 5'11"/165lbs, with "regular" sized calfs. I'm a runner, so my legs aren't skin-and-bone, but they're not overly large, either. But this is a perfectly fine size. If you have huge calfs, this will probably be too small for you. But for women or average sized men, it should be fine. The inner velcro spans the entire length of the strap, so you're not limited to how small or large you can attach this thing. The reflective strip is just a small portion of the strap -- I wouldn't buy this if that is your primary reason for wanting it.I'm not at all worried that this one will fall off easily and I will lose it. It holds much better than the other straps I've used. My only regret is that I didn't get the wide version -- but they were sold out when I ordered so I got this one instead.Pros: - Well made -- seems to be made from an old bike tire (or made to seem that way) - Excellent hold - Velcro spans entire strapCons: - If you have huge calfs, will probably be too small - Reflective tape doesn't seem like it would be super useful.

I'm a six foot tall man with the calves of someone of that height who bikes enough that he would write an ankle strap review. I find that when I use this strap, it is just barely long enough to secure my pant leg at the place (2" above the ankle) that I like to keep it so I don't have to worry about it getting caught in my gears or rubbing against the chain. Even closer to the ankle, I find that it is tricky to get it to go around my leg and the bunched-up fabric of the end of my pant leg.Still, it's inexpensive and reliable.

Ordered this product for a Xmas gift, but first of all only one bike pant strap was sent and expected two, logically most people have two legs and would want a set. Thought I was getting a set. Once I got it, i realized how poorly made it was and was not interested in wasting more money to order a second one. I was not able to give as a gift as it would have looked cheap. After the holiday was over, I showed my son and told him I would order a second if he thought it was in line with the pant strap feature he was looking for and reflective enough. He tried out on his waterproof pant leg walking outside and it slid around and the reflection was poor. He said, do not bother. While something might have been recycled to make this, it probably cost twice what it should have and most likely will end up in a landfill, especially if you are only selling one at a time. Poor strategy which was not in line with customer expectations. I am all for allowing customers the ability to replace one item like this if one was lost or damaged, but just having it sold in singles is horrible. Plus the label on the item does not even show the customer what this plastic rubber piece with Velcro is even supposed to do or where to put it.

I debated between this strap and their thick version. For whatever reason Amazon only had the thick version in a two pack so the price steered me to this one. I am glad I picked it, it's so comfortable that I forget I am even wearing it! I just leave it on all day, I ride my bike to work with it on, leave it as it's very subtle on my casual work attire, and just hop on the bike at the end of the day. There have been times where I went to undress at the end of the day and couldn't get my leg out because it was still strapped, lol I forget it's there! :)Thanks for making a great product green guru!

Good product overall. Fast delivery - I wish the retro-reflective aarea was opposite the closing Velcro so when you close the strap in front, the reflective area is in the back, so it can be seen by those approaching you in traffic with head ligts. Sure, it's easy enough to turn it arond but I have to fiddle with it. It beats a rubber band and the price was right.
