Trade quality tool, does a great job.
House has subfloor panels and all the nails down the centre of the boards were creaking. This was the only tool I found the was up to the job of removing the 4” nails. Just need to make a small groove either side of the nail head, put the tool over the top and give it a whack. Then use the hammer on top of the tool as a lever. Perfect job and well worth the money. Tool is extremely well engineered.

Good tool
Really easy to use as have lots of nails to remove as taking ceilings and walls down in home all lathing plaster so really old 100 year old nails some of the heads missing etc but this tool does it easily. Other reviews have said weak but they must have been really abusing the tool as it’s really sturdy I don’t think I could break it even if I tried too. Good but if kit

Good but not perfect
A very clever, useful tool. A couple of niggles:1. It's expensive for what it is2. It requires more room to work that you may realise, by the time you have gripped the nail and levered the tool back onto the 'shoe'. It requires even more room to work at the hammer end. This hasn't really proved too much of an issue, but be aware that in the demo videos they are never working in confined spaces.3. It doesn't work with deeply embedded nails. Even if you're prepared to drive it deep into the wood, the jaws close before they come close to the nails embedded in my stripped floor boards. I ended up using a nail punch and a hammer to do the job I bought this for. I'm still glad I own it, but it didn't quite live up to expectations.

Not fit for purpose
Terrible, but the Hultafors one instead, it works much better.Besides the fact that the jaws don’t open wide enough it also has a sharp angle on them that just blunts after a few uses making it even harder to use. The sections that allow the claw of a hammer to pull the Mail out are too fat and make from monkey metal so they just slip and round off making the tool useless. I sent mine back straight away.

Good quality, useful tool - if you need to pull nails
I had some old wooden joists with lots (100?) of old rusted nails with no heads. I tried pulling them with claw hammers, wrecking bars, and pliers, but these all failed. With the Bahco nail puller, I pulled all the nails in an hour or so. With only one exception, the nails came out cleanly. One nail broke at the surface of the wood leaving a large part of the nail in the wood. Very easy to use, good quality tool that saved me a lot of time and effort.

Seems very sturdy and up to the job, but there are other tools that are easier to use!
Very unlike a bahco product, this one seems to be not very well thought through; the angle of the jaws is too shallow to grip a nail properly; that or the flattened jaw on one side should be sharper. You're working with the tool at an angle while hammering, and there is no form of guard against an uncontrolled (or more likely, frustrated) blow.It seems very well put together and took all the force I was putting through it...but it seems like a LOT of force is necessary (or possibly a larger hammer...) for the tool to dig into the wood around a nail. Note my point above around the angle of the jaws - this tool seems to want to compress the wood rather than bite.Very easy for the tool to slip onto the nail rather than under it, meaning that you just hammer the nail deeper.Frankly, the heavier tool with integrated hammer (like this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001CKAR4Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) works far better for the job. That tool has the heft, proper working angle (sits perpendicular to the board most of the time) and jaws for the job.

Excellent nail puller
This nail puller replaced one of a similar design, which I mislaid many years ago. Since the day I couldn't find it, no other puller did such a tidy, neat or easy job. Until I got my hands on this one, of course. You'll never regret getting one of these if you have to remove obstinate nails. Slipping pry bars, hammers, and the host of other tools you try removing nails with, along with associated injury, are a thing of the past with this great gadget. 👍

Doesn't really work
Unless the nail is already slightly proud, this is just too hard to be worth reaching for. In any case, very hard to use and impossible to grab nails that have been driven in

Great for removing nails or screws from that one rotted ...
Great for removing nails or screws from that one rotted board without marring the adjacent boards. Much faster than using the claw on the hammer.

ottimo
