Backpacking fishing pole
Good sturdy design. It is small can go in your pocket in a bag or anywhere really. Opens up so can put hooks, weights, and swivels in side of it and a little extra string. Easy to use even has a little clip on it to hold your line. Be very good in a survival kit or hiking bag for emergencies or even just if want to put it in glove box and mess around in down time if near a body of water wish had one when I was younger in scouts.

objet simple au potentiel intéressant, très portatif et va a l’essentiel, sa structure en nylon le rend très résistant au chocs et ses rainures croisées ainsi que la longueur de la poignée donne une bonne prise en main

No hobo here...
Got bored making hobo-lines, bought 2 of these. Love em to death. 4kg on one, 8kg on the other. Keep appropriate tackle inside handle I.e. match hooks and leads to line weight. Yes, if you're left-handed like me the spool MIGHT unscrew. But... it's called a handline for a reason: cast and retrieve with your hands! You'll catch MORE FISH. Remember: big hooks only catch big fish, small to medium hooks catch ALL fish. If you bought two like me: rig one light for small bait fish, rig the other a bit heavier to USE these baitfish. Don't rely on stale shop-bought bait. Furthermore... come to Australia and fish!

Better than the KA-BAR version
So I bought the KA-BAR and the Veepeey brand copycat, first off let's re-establish specs, because NEITHER company was accurate and this caused me to have to buy both in the first place to figure it out myself.KABAR: Weight: 117.95 grams ; Length 16 cm long, 5.4 cm wide at head(5.7cm w/ clip)Veepeey: Weight: 135.67 grams ; Length: 17 cm long, 5 cm wide at head(5.5 cm w/ clip)Other than that they are functionally the same except for how the screwtop functions and finish. Both have holes predrilled for lanyard and boast a rubber O-Ring. One could say that the Veepeey has a better grip due to having both vertical and horizontal lines. Finally, the Veepeey has a little hook below your line. The shelf on the Veepeey is larger so it's probably easier to quickly get your line off with the Ka-Bar but I havent taken them out yet to test that. The KA-BAR weighs less but the Veepeey is also noticeably longer, so the tradeoff is weight, size VS storage, longer grip.Screwtop: VEEPEEY WINSThis was the deciding factor for me on which one to keep and which one to send back. The screw top of the KA-BAR is just too prone to easily coming off. I measured the Veepeey at having THREE full rotations before it can come off; on the other hand the KA-BAR only took a quarter of a SINGLE rotation before it could just fly off, nice for accessing the inside quickly, bad for functionality of it's job. I would say I'd prefer the Veepeey to only be 2 full rotations but I do like knowing that it's very secure and I wont have to worry about it breaking or becoming looser with time.QUALITY: VEEPEEY WINSThe Veepeey wins out on quality/finish; the Ka-bar at first appearance was more polished but it had major defects when it came to comfort, I bought 2 Ka-Bar's and both of them were not sanded down around the rim just below the head where your hand/fingers would be resting on AND the mold seems were not sanded down well either across the entirety, you could fix this yourself by taking a file to it but I'm severely dissapointed that while they polished it better than the Veepeey, Veepeey at least thought of sanding everything smooth, which also matters a lot because I feel like the mold seem could be abrasive on your line.Grip: VEEPEEY WINS The Veepeey has both horizontal and vertical lines while the Ka-Bar only has horizontal, functionally this means you should have a better grip with the Veepeey. I will say I feel like the Veepeey digs into my palm but I think that's from where the horizontal and vertical lines edges meet, I like the feel of the Ka-Bar more BUT once again the poor filing of the mold lines and the spot just below the shelf of the head where your index and thumb sit on the KA-BAR holds it back from claiming a comfort win over the Veepeey. I think if you take a file and round the edges of the Veepeey where the corners of the horizontal and vertical lines meet a little bit more then that will fix that issue and firmly place the Veepeey over the Ka-Bar again.Alternatively, the Veepeey having a slightly longer grip allows for more than 1 hand more comfortably.COST: I think it's unacceptable that KA-BAR allowed a (probably) chinese no-name copycat to make a better product and yet charge 14% more. ($14.59 vs $16.85)OTHER: The Veepeey came with a mesh bag and a lanyard, both are kinda garbage but Ka-Bar didnt come with either.OVERALL: The Veepeey excelled in all categories over the Ka-Bar except in weight and size which is unacceptable considering neither is very far apart and you could make the argument that the Veepeey allows for more storage, even if you're counting grams I think you should consider the Veepeey over the Ka-bar because what good is a kaster if the top pops off and you lose it, I think this would be closer if Ka-Bar lived up to their name reputation(I'm a USMC veteran, Sergeant of 8 years and expected more of Ka-Bar since they are famous for their USMC knives in the Corps) and sanded down their product smoothly and had a cap that didnt feel like I was going to lose it.I included pictures. Seemed one reviewer thought the same about the cap seeming to be too loose on the KA-BAR.ALL IN ALLGET THIS PRODUCT!!!

Could be better
For fishing on the go, a couple of mini bobbers, hooks and weights included in the handle would make this perfect. I can buy some for it, but I don't care to look for accessories for an accessary. Swing and a miss.
