You have to work it on to the drum. As long as it seals you’re good otherwise water will leak out and make a mess. It’s a decent tumbler but I figured that out on my own! Good luck!

Yes I saw that too, but to be precise it is not allowed, although the accessories will have a filter inside the mesh, but still do not flush the grit products into the sink, it will cause damage to your pipes.
