High quality screened cable, by Consolegoods. The genuine Consolegoods cable has copper braid spiral screening/shielding to help prevent external interference and 'buzzing'. Upgrade to this RGB scart cable, for far better picture and sound quality than RF and composite AV cables.

Better than RF, decent value upgrade.
For the price you can't really go wrong. Though this dosnt favourably compete with the more expensive custom made and individually shielded cables you can purchase from specialist sources. It is still a decent picture. If your looking for a more than acceptable picture and your TV still accepts RGB scart input this is a vast improvet over the old RF connection and a good stop gap till you decide to invest in the higher quality connectors. A decent budget purchase for a Mark 1 master system.

Won't work with the OSSC so if you have one of these, don't bother with this cable.
Unfortunately the cable is poorly screened and doesn't seem to contain the correct capacitor and resistor combination to terminate the video at 75ohms. It probably works fine on a CRT but when used with my OSSC it constantly loses sync. I bought a proper cable from Retro Gaming Cables which was much more expensive at £23 but is much thicker, properly shielded and terminated. It works absolutely perfectly with the OSSC.

Fits and works great.
I've bought a few different Megadrive cables in the past, some of which were loose or didn't fit properly. This once fits great and works well. Just what I needed.

Works a treat with new TVs. The AV cable that came with the Mega Drive created banding across the screen. This scart got rid of it straight away.

Didn't work for me- may be my megadrive
His didn't work at all. All I got was a black screen other than a no signal screen because the SCART was plugged in. I don't know if it's this cable or my megadrive because this is the first one I've tried.

The V-pin is too big for the MegaDrive (1) and can't even rest inside the console without dropping the picture.
