This omission became significant when I discovered that the supplement contains a higher dose of zinc than I would typically prefer. Men are generally advised to consume a maximum of 11mg of zinc daily, as surpassing this limit can disrupt the absorption of other crucial minerals like iron and copper. It's essential to be cautious, as an excess of 40mg per day can lead to zinc toxicity, this product contains 20mg. Had I been aware of this information in advance, I might have reconsidered my decision to buy, especially since I already incorporate other zinc sources into my supplement regimen. This is per serving, which is 2 capsules so consequently, I've chosen not to include this product as a daily staple, and on the days I do take it I only take one capsule, which likely means I am not getting the full benefit of the rest of the ingredients.On the positive side, the formula does include a range of ingredients that are scientifically recognized for their potential in supporting prostate health. However, another notable drawback is that certain key components, including phytosterol, pumpkin seed extract, and saw palmetto extract, are hidden within a proprietary blend. This prostate supplement has a good list of ingredients, most of which are well known for treatment of an enlarged prostate and frequent or difficult urination. Some are not but are included anyway. Zinc, pumpkin seed and saw palmetto are the most commonly taken for prostate health. These three ingredients are easily found separately at a reasonable price. The price of this supplement is way overpriced for what amounts to a month's supply.

I ordered this for my husband's prostate health. I paused at the price, but thought perhaps in this case, you get what you pay for. As others have mentioned, I was surprised there wasn't an exact ingredient list to review, and even more shocked at the high level of Zinc in the supplement. Still, we had my husband's doc check it out and he gave the all clear, so he took the entire bottle over a month's span (1 capsule per day). Not sure if "Prostate Health" is even something you can measure, but husband said he felt good and suffered no negative effects. Still, I probably would not order this again at it's current price - also ingredients need to be shown!

These capsules contain a lot of the recommended supplements for prostate health. They are relatively small and easy enough to swallow. But boy, are they expensive. $95 per bottle? They work out to around $1.50 per capsule. I have bought similar products for much less. So, they are a decent supplement for their purpose, but they are a costly choice.

There are many slowing “flow rate” as guys get older. Notably, Nutrum relies on Saw Palmetto, a phytosterol derived from plants. Studies do show it many improve urinary comfort when the prostate gland is enlarged, making urination more frequent, especially for guys over 50. I’m surprised by two things: The listing does not include full ingredients list—just highlights. Also several similar products are covered by Amazon 30 day free returns policy in case it’s not for you. At the time of this review, Nutrum is not.
