I was hoping that these would fit in a Music Man amp but alas, it was not to be. They were just *slightly* different, and I guess that was what Music Man had to do to not violate Fender's copyrights. Make it visually more or less indistinguishable, but just different enough to not stimulate a lawsuit.Comments I can make about these compared to their equivalents 40 years ago though: the metal is thinner in the strap itself, but the part seems well cast and acceptable quality. Similarly, the screws are slightly thinner and seem to be a little less weighty than their vintage cousins but the lock nuts should do their job just as well. This is definitely cheaper than finding vintage spec equipment, and will probably perform the job just as well, so on an amp with terribly rusted or missing parts, this will probably do the trick.Just not on a Music Man.

Great replacement! 4 stars because the screws supplied are not correct. The originals (1976 Twin Reverb) are short (2inch?) self taping screws without the locking nuts. The screws supplied are long (4inch?) screws that meant to go through the chassis and bolted down. I had to use the originals (after tediously cleaning them as much as possible). The package as from Fender was open at the top slightly. The head of one of the bolts was protruding, enough so that a small opening in the bag allowed three of the nuts to empty out of the bag. One nut was in the shipping envelope. The other two are gone. The only reason I am NOT returning is it's a hassle, and I have a couple spare nuts in my parts drawer here. It's just not worth it to have to send it back and wait for replacements, but I am disappointed that it was shipped this way.

I bought these to put on a Mojotone Head Cabinet for a Fender Silverface Super Six that we had just restored. They fit perfectly and look just like the originals. Nice price and quick shipping.

decent quality,replaced on my old silver face pro reverb ,the old ones are rusty beyond saving,but i will keep them for any future owner.These look so much better and there is no need to keep an old amp looking shabby,keep em clean like your teeth.
