As someone whom travels often, you don't always feel safe in the hotel rooms as they don't always have great locks. I bought these for my cross country road trip and I am so glad I did. one room, the door didn't close tightly at all, and there was no flip lock. I got this thing in the door, and the door did not budge!!! best money I have spent in a while. 10/10 reccomend.

This product is very good for keeping unwanted guest in but it is a big tricky to install in the door.

I used it in my last vacation. Does not fit very old hotel doors, but in the second hotel, it provided a great lock and I slept relaxed and worry free

This worked great to lock the hotel door, even when the gap was bigger than usual, this tool still served its purpose and it made me feel secure. The only thing I will advise is to have it in an external compartment of your bag or carry on for easy TSA inspection. They saw it in he scan as a metal sharp object and went through my carry on until they found this tool. No problem after that.

Little complicated to get the door shut while holding it. But once it's in place works very well.
