Installed, it looks and works great, the remote is a real plus. As seen in several other reviews, we received the fan and the black marker/paint in the grooves of the fan blades was very poorly applied. Fortunately, my wife is great at fixing this sort of thing and was able to "clean" all of the blades up. Overall, from a functionality perspective, thus far we would recommend this fan

I'm looking forward to the clean and unobtrusive look it promises. While I haven't yet experienced the installation process, I've heard positive feedback about its ease and clarity from other users. The prospect of a quiet operation is also appealing, as it means I can enjoy the benefits of the fan without any distracting noise. The anticipation of multiple speed settings and a reversible motor adds to my excitement. The media could not be loaded.  Wish we would have purchased the Swcita Large Ceiling fan before the start of summer!My 5yr old son an I love to watch movies in the garage and play when mom needs some quiet time inside to take care of work / calls, but this summer has been so brutally hot that its been unattainable without some sort of breeze / airflow.Previously we would use a box fan which made it feel nice inside the centralized air stream, but the noise is so loud that we could not hear the TV without blaring the sound bar defeating the purpose of being outside in the first place.The Swcita was the perfect solution for moving a large volume of air and creating a pleasant environment in a 2 car garage. The fan is 100% silent when running. Only noise you will ever hear from it is a quiet audible beep when pressing a button on the remote to confirm it received it.Instillation was a breeze, mount the bracket to the ceiling and insert the power source (wires) into the provided block on the side. (no wire caps needed). Next, unscrew the two screws on the ball joint hanger to remove the holding pin and then slide the pre-connected wires through the shaft. Then reinstall the screws on the ball hanger up top and connect the shaft to the motor with the provided pin. At this point you are ready to hand the fan and plug in the pre-terminated connectors to power it up and test. The fan blades are the last step. Use the provided base plate and hex head screws to attach to the motor and you are done. One pro tip, line up the base plate and first fan blade while on the ground as they are not evenly spaced between blades. Its easy to figure out, especially while on the ground.Last thing I noticed that really makes this fan neat, the finish on the blades and housing would make a really good base coat it you want to paint it a unique color to match accents in your house or garage. May do so later after I revisit epoxying my floors.Other great thing, even in the 110 degree Texas heat the fan blades hold up flawlessly and show no sign drooping :)For those concerned with not having a fan switch like me in the garage, you can wire it in to a dedicated hot source like the garage door outlets and then use the remote as your on/off... much easier than running new wires in the wall for a switch.

The old fan of our sunroom didn't work so bought this one. As I opened the box and double check everything included, I found the product looks very good. The wood fan is not heavy and I like the color. Easy to install. I am not a handyman so I spent about two hours to install it . The fan works very well. Unlike the old one, the fan can be controlled by remoter. I like it. Easy to turn on or off.

We bought this for our guest room. This three-blade model impressed us with its quiet operation, substantial airflow and user friendly features. It has a remote control which no need to stand up for turning on/off like most fan controls. It’s a top option if you want an effective and affordable ceiling fan for your home and easy to install. We liked it and looked forward to using it in the summer time!
