We bought this pump to enable us to change the water in our garden static fish tank. It is extremely easy to use and perfect for the job. We place the pump carefully into the fish tank before connecting it to the electric supply. Once turned on we pump 1/2 to 3/4 water out of the tank in the garden and remove the pump and then refill with fresh water. It works very quickly so you do need to keep watch if you don't want your pond to empty completely. It is also excellent for the water butts. Ours usually fill up quite quickly and although there is a tap on the water butt for the watering can, using the pump is much quicker and easier and you don't need to carry the watering can around.

I use this for irrigation and lots more, previous one (same model) died just after two years of almost industrial use. Happy to buy the replacement of the same model, and a great price. A continental plug, so what?

Arrived from Luxembourg with a continental 2 pin plug.Bearing in mind this is for use outdoors and in/near water the option to cut off a molded waterproof plug and replace it is not a viable one.On speaking to Amazon they offered a £5 discount toward an adapter. Still not a good idea unless you use one of the sealed type rather than a shaver type one.This has proved difficult as the continental plug is not of the flat type but rather a large round one - eventually did locate one at £19.95 + shipping.So overall not the bargain pump it seems.Have also discovered from trading standards that it is illegal to sell a euro plug electrical item in the UK without supplying the correct converter with it.Amazon were not interested in this fact and just said send back the pump!!

Use this in the middle water butt of 3. Works well as this butt is filled from the 1st one's overflow so little dirt to block the filter.

Love this, use it for moving water about from butt to butt.... not uber powerful, but enough.

Fits into 250L and 500L water butts. Has sufficient power to water a smallish garden. Much better than carriying watering cans. Worth every £

The pressure isn't as much as I had hoped it's not as powerful as the normal tap pressure. I had to change the plug as it was supplied with a continental molded plug

Was really happy to receive my waterbutt pump for the price, until I opened the box to find that the plug is european! Not UK like it shows on the picture and does not mention that it is Euro plug the description.

Excellent,rien à redire. Facile à brancher. Pour vider 1000 litres d'eau le temps est de 1 heure. Le cordon d'alimentation assez long. Je recommande vivement.
