Rocket Dog Women's Slope Long Boots

I bought the Rocket Dog Boots for my mother, and she loves them. The high-quality suede material feels durable, and the easy zipping makes them convenient to put on and take off. The thermal lining keeps her feet warm and cozy, which is perfect for colder days. She’s impressed with how well they keep her warm and dry, and she says they’re excellent value for money for what I paid.She also really likes the look of the boots and finds them comfortable to wear. The soft, warm lining adds to the comfort, making them a great choice for everyday use. However, she did mention that the fit could be a bit snug, and she’s curious to see how they hold up over time. Loved the toggles on the side and the shape of the toes. Plenty of toe room and for a thicker sock too. Look great with leggings or tight jeans.Side zip makes it easy to put on and take off. Great quality comfortable to walk in. Not sure if they are waterproof yet as i havent been out when its wet.Hoping they last me a long time.True to size im a size 6 and they fit me fine.

Love these boots, comfy, warm, not too bulky and have been perfect in the recent snow to give enough grip to keep be warm and upright! Would definitely buy again.

TL;DR - despite the polar opposite reviews, these are comfy, warm boots that seem well enough made for the money paid, but that do require a bit of careful wearing.I bought these as part of my wife's Christmas, and she did quite a bit of research before buying. The reviews for this product are a mixed bag and she nearly didn't get them because of it - people either seem to love them, or are complaining about a real drop in quality since their last pair.I never normally write such long reviews, but given the dichotomy in the reviews, we wanted to try to give my wife's perspective on each of the issues brought up.Overall, we paid £32 for them, and she's pretty happy with them; nice and cozy, and comfortable too. Though with the slight drop in quality eg the sole, she wouldn't have been happy to pay much more for them, and certainly not the £85 right price quoted.Fit - as expected. She is a UK 6, ordered a 6, and they were lovely and snug. She has fairly slim calves, so we can't provide any more feedback on that particular issue, but her toes certainly weren't all cramped up like some people have mentioned: there was just the right amount of foot room in both width and length. Nice and warm on the feet and calf, and comfortable to walk in so far (after a few weeks).Quality - they seem well sewn together, zip seems sturdy enough so far, and the lining feels nice and thick. Some people mentioned a drop in the quality of the rubber of the sole, and based on older Rocket dog boots we'd have to agree it does indeed seem more rigid and less flexible, though it doesn't seem to have impacted her comfort when walking in them.Plastic insert in heel to keep boot shape - some people mentioned this bursting through the lining, or just cutting into them making the boots unwearable. We can absolutely feel this hard plastic insert, and it feels as though it might be slightly too pinched into the achillies tendon, which she can see would definitely have the potential to cut into your foot. However, the plastic insert seems well sewn into the lining, and hasn't seemed to cause any problems yet; perhaps due to the fact there is a little room for her foot to move backward and forwards, as opposed to her foot being crushed up in it. In the first few weeks if wearing, she could definitely feel that it had the potential to rub/hurt, had she not worn 2 pairs of socks, but they've now slackened off sufficiently that they are very comfy.She would also agree with another reviewer who said that the can handle getting a bit damp in lightish rain and that drying them off under the radiator seems to work well

Very pretty and shapely but... they have narrow uppers. I have slim thighs but these shoes are not for my feet. I ordered a size bigger. I wear no. 4, these are no. 5 and the uppers are too narrow. I sent it back the next day, I'm waiting for my money back.... it's taking quite a long time...

Loves these always highly recommended.They fit perfectly, easy to put on as has a zip on the side.Wear ability, durability and quality is without a doubtb excellent.

The boots came up quite large for me, I think because of the square toe box so returned. They arrived quickly and looked lovely, perfect other than size. Great value for money! The refund back in account in less than 24 hours!!! If only every company could be so good. Thankyou.
