These canning jars, the half gallon size are so nice to have for use in my kitchen as well as my personal apothecary.I have found that the quart size jars are not large enough for some of the things I needed to do inside the home, so I decided to try out these half gallon jars.I have used these for use in the pantry with crackers, rice and beans, sugars, etc .This size jar is awesome for making cold brew, coffees and teas, as well as any homemade drinks, smoothies, water or milk, kefir, etc .Standard measurements are listed on the sides of these jars as shown in the pictures above.My husband and I have tried yerba mate and when you buy it it's in a bigger container/ resealable pouch and we knew that we needed an alternative to just the paper pouch, this size jar works perfectly for any dried herbs, food items that you do not want to store in cardboard or plastic .Overall, I am giving this a five star rating because canning jars are amazing, you can use them in the refrigerator or pantry, and with the right care these can last a lifetime.

I always have an over abundance of cucumbers to pickle each summer and this is perfect for larger dill pickles.

These are great jars. I am using them to make meals and freeze them for later. We are very pleased with them. We have always used mason jars of all sizes and this was the best price i have ever found! Perfect for what we needed. I would recommend them to anyone interested in using these large mason jars.

Good product/break-proof packaging

I’m liking everything about them and will order more… Quality Mason jars are pricey these days but a wise investment in these progressively difficult times.

I bought these jars so I could store my different flours and oatmeal. We live in the south and bugs love these flours. These are the perfect size, and I can seal them with my Food Saver. They store easily and compactly. I will be using them for years to come. A real bargain.

All jars arrive undamaged, thanks to a really nice packaging. My only concern is that almost all of metal rings on top of jars have a dent that may affect how well the lids will seal. Time will tell...

Love the size. I am using them for storing food products. Flour, sugar, noodles. I am vacumn sealing them in my large jars so my product will stay fresh for a long time. Also I can buy stable good when they are on sale.
