5/5: As Good as the Real Thing! Convenient, tasty, but does have a price premium.
I much prefer Wholegrain Brown Basmati over normal white, as I find it tastier. As an added benefit, it's also marketed as healthier! These packets are no exception, coming out perfect and much the same as rice you cook from scratch.I find it convenient if I'm in a rush and need a quick meal: just cook this, mix is some sauce/seasoning, and BAM! However, you can also use it for Stir Frys and reduces cleanup and preparation time. Please hold in mind that this is an expensive option for rice though. Another reviewer noted that it was as cost effective as buying normal rice. This is NOT the case, as uncooked rice AT LEAST doubles in weight. Tilda Wholegrain 5kg bags retail for £13, meaning that you pay - roughly - about £1.3 per 1kg of cooked rice (equating to 33p per 250g of cooked rice). This is a conservative estimate too, you'd probably save more pennies than that. So with these sorts of products, you're paying a 67p premium (and is why every company is pumping out their own versions of these microwavable convenient rice packets).Even with this in mind, I find them useful for when I'm in a rush and can't make as much time for cooking as I'd like. Good for taking into work too if you're in a rush.

Lovely and healthy
I don't zap this in the microwave for 2 minutes as suggested, I just do 1 minute and 50 seconds and let it stand for 5 minutes or until my microwave reminds me that something is still in it. That way it come out still hot but softer, I then shake some garlic granuals over it before adding my curry. Awesome.

Very convenient and good texture.
I'm not generally a fan of packet food but I find these pouches very handy and very convenient. Just mircrowave for 2 mins and its done. I have also added half a packet to stir fry veg which gives the stir fry extra texture, Also gluten free with not salt. I bought this pack at 75p which was a good price. 250g pack looks small but makes 2 portions at 158 kcal each. Very good handy product. Good texture without the fuss

Perfect every time!
Perfect wholegrain brown basmati rice - every time! Sometimes brown rice can be a nightmare to cook depending upon the quality - with this, however, at least its pretty much guaranteed to turn out well! Good quality brown rice, quick and easy to prepare, tastes great (so much nicer steamed). Pack has two servings. Good price on Amazon pantry. Well packaged, excellent delivery.

Easy to use, delicious and convenient.
Easy to use, delicious and convenient. Buying these are more expensive than dried rice, but brown rice takes 1/2 an hour to cook. This is done in 2 mins in the microwave, or chuck it straight into a wok to heat through. Amazon is the best place to buy them - up to £2 each in the shops, or £1 each on Amazon (£6 for 6).
