What I liked:1. It's whistle is quite loud. Yet to test it in relevant conditions. But no complaints. Something is better than nothing.2. Magnifying glass and signalling mirror. Very handy for Indian outdoors. It's basic and decent for a survival gadget.3. Has a compass and a temperature gauge(?). Those'd be handy.4. Torch is good for searching keys or small items inside a bag at night.5. Tiny storage compartment could hold dental floss which is a useful survival item. Pair it with tiny metal paper-clip.6. The lanyard could be used as survival heating source, if it comes to a SHTF situation during outdoor hiking. I'm positive that the existing lanyard can be modified and/replaced by a customized paracord lanyard.What I didn't like:1. Plastic quality of the magnifying glass and the signalling mirror.2. The storage compartment. Really don't know how useful this will be. May be 2-3 match sticks and a striker strip for survival. I don't see much usefulness for this feature. For me personally.3. No clear instructions on battery replacement. That makes this a use and throw product. That's a big design failure for me. This means, I'll be short of 2 features (including the storage issue) out of the 6-7 features it promises.I'll still rate it at three stars, as it can be very useful for both outdoor survival situations as well as urban security options (whistle).
