This is an exact fit for my B&D orbital sander. Now I can connect my shopvac 2.5" hose, it really helps reduce the dust in the air. Would recommend.

This adapter fits perfectly on both my Black & Decker 5” sander and shop vac. The construction is thick and it seems very sturdy. I have a ton of sanding to do and on a first test run this adapter works perfectly and will greatly help with dust control.

Used this with my shop vac recently for some sanding work in the garage where I didn't want dust everywhere. Worked great! Cut down on dust a TON and really only had some shavings on the ground right by where I was sanding, otherwise no fine particulate dust everywhere like there would normally be.

Could have tighter fit, but for the price works well.

I like the fit was sanding ceiling the vacuum hose angle do not support it I used two sizes and both crack

I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on an expensive sander/vacuum set up, and this peice saved me from having to do so. I like the thickness of the price and also how snug the fit is, when attached to the vacuum hose. I sand A LOT of furniture that I restore or build and this is a definite must have in my tool collection; it never comes off my sander. I will be buying a couple of extras, because you never know what will happen.
