Florida Sun Kefir Exclusive Dehydrated Starter Water Grains

I have run these through 3 batches before using them for the first time, as suggested in the directions. The kefir grains rehydrated nicely the first batch, and more than tripled in volume by the third batch. I am glad that I did a few preliminary test batches before doing a real batch, because the first batch, they rehydrated, but there was very little taste other than sugar. Had I used that first mixture for a second ferment, I would have been very disappointed! The grains need at least 3 batches of following the rehydration cycle mentioned to be healthy enough to produce good, delicious kefir! Don’t skip that part, or you might not have good results with your first and second batches. My third batch is now on the second ferment, and it has been 24 hours. I tasted it just to see if it is coming along, and the flavor is delicious! I like mine super fizzy with a little note of alcohol, so will drink it in another 3-4 days. So happy with this purchase!

I bought 2 sets of Water Kefir from 2 different Sellers - this one - has bigger size (no sugar included). Seller recommends to start 1st batch with molasses, which i did not have at home.. so i used Brown Sugar instead - and still worked! And worked much better then from other Seller, who includes brown sugar as a start up.Would buy again and would recommend my friends to buy from this Seller.

Didn't work for me 4 days of fermentation using instructions and the water still sweet grains haven't grow , too bad a week wasted waiting to get some results, hopefully another brand will work

It took a good 3 weeks before they starting working well- almost gave up. Now they are active, with visible bubbles rising from the bottom.
