Everything you need but the soil. Very nice kit. The two little tools sent with it are very helpful, especially since at first I thought “What the heck do I need this for?”, but indeed they are my little ‘go to’ seedling helpers!The lid works very well with keeping moisture in. I don’t have a problem with it staying on snug. I really like the clear trays so I can see how the watering is going and later to see what the roots are doing.One caution is I left a green tray in the Southwestern sun (yikes!) and it did melt it slightly. It IS plastic and not battleship metal so mea culpa!Last, but not least, the white labels are large, very sturdy and reusable.

Starting your spring/summer seeds indoors is a must for every gardener to get a head start on spring planting. These mini greenhouses are perfect, 4 rows with 3 section so you can plant 12 plants in each container or I double up with some seeds. This comes with a cover to keep the moisture in and a tray for underneath, so no mess when you water, once the seedlings are big enough just let them go without the lid and when your ready to plant, so easy just pop out your plant (exactly like the pony packs they sell at the garden store minus the cost) it also includes tags to write date and type of seed planted, it also includes a couple little tools to help you plant (which I did not use) all in all great price and again great for starting your seedlings

The media could not be loaded.  It’s been a good purchase for me. Like that- Easy to use- base tray below to collect the extra water- The size of the dome- the dome itself. Love that I can adjust the slider ( for humidity control) so easily- Tools included ( w/ the markers) which help to plant seedsTook 1 star off - because I wish they had included more markers. It’s not a deal breaker for me though. :)

I ordered because the set was pretty cheap. Well, the product was great. The starter trays are just as good as most of the stuff you pick up at a Home Depot or Lowes. The heating mat works fine. The thing with the mat. It has a temp probe on the mat but that is not the temp in the trays. You must adjust it up. I found 95 degrees on the mat gives me 85 in my trays. I had stuff sprouting in 48 hours for BokChoy which does germinate fast. No complaints great buy and will last many seasons.

I was able to get my garden growing earlier in the season with these trays. The domes provided the extra humidity, and the clear containers allowed me to see the soil better. The durability of the plastic will allow me to clean and reuse it very easily.

Perfect size for starter plants! They don’t take up too much space, I thought they were a great value for the money with all of the parts you get included. The ventilation is really nice as well. Long-term I’m not sure How many uses I’ll get out of them. I put a couple in my greenhouse and as they got too hot from sun exposure, the top cover became Morphed
