I feed a pair of nesting Robins in my garden but always had a problem with Sparrows taking most of the live mealworms.I decided to place this bird on top of my mealworm feeder and it has certainly helped to keep some of the foragers away, without frightening my rather tame Robins.My feeder is under cover so I don't have an issue with rain, however I would not be tempted to place them out in the open as I doubt they would be waterproof.They look realistic enough to convince other birds, despite being cheaply made. They are certainly not blackbird size though, more like a Greenfinch size for those wondering.

This is scarily realistic. My girlfriend had this delivered to my work to use at home for our halloween party but I lost it in my office. I found it a few months later and scared myself thinking I'd found a dead bird!So I thought it'd be funny to leave it on a colleague's desk. Unfortunately, she didn't see the funny side...!! Oops. :D

Looks great, the only issue is that the legs come off too easily had to be strengthened and glued on property

Fits in your hand.Very life like, got to scare a few people.Quite scary seems to follow you around the room.Has feathers, but does not fly.

Arrived in time however, 1foot broke trying to fix onto staff, and completely fell off and lost before end of night.. Cute but hollowness makes it fragile, called mine bob, as he bobbed on top of staff/cane

For money it’s amazing. It did come with eye off but it was in bag so just stuck it back on

Rather skimpy feather application in parts. A wing feather came off as I opened the packaging
