Don't know why it works, but it does.

I bought this as an extra thinking it would be better than the one that comes with "ToSSme Garlic Rocker Crusher Mincer Press Dishwasher Safe, Stainless Steel Garlic Crusher Press " but it turns out the one that was included with that one is way better than this one, this one is a bit smaller.This one also slides around when trying to roll it so it's not fit for purpose where as the one that comes with teh Carlick Rocker does not slide, is nice and big and so i can vedry quickly and easily do multple cloves in one go and it works every time unlike this one which is a real pita.

My previous garlic peeler went missing. We know not where- possibly in the dark recesses of the compost heap, thrown out with spud peelings or somesuch........ Anyway, unfortunately this replacement one just doesn't compare to its predecessor. It's a bit wider which seems to make all the difference. The garlic cloves fall through no matter how I try to grip them, appearing with their skins still intact. Don't like it.

The product is an interesting little gadget. Works well, not as easy as you'd expect but not difficult. The product seems like a gimmick. All in all, unnecessary but a cool little addition to your kitchen.

I went to a food fair a few years ago and saw a sales bloke demonstrating how to use these peelrs. I nearly bought one at the time but they were quite expensive so I left it. Now I have one of these, I wish I'd bought one years ago!This is a really clever, handy little gadget. You simply get a clove of garlic, cut the rough end off, slip the garlic clove into the tube and then roll and gently squeeze it in your hands really quickly - et voila - The skin just falls off the clove! No more stinky garlic fingers (yay!) and it peels the cloves in super quick time (which is really satisfying to watch). My Dad loves cooking so I bought him one for Christmas and he also loves it. I can imagine that if you were a caterer who uses a lot of garlic every day, this peeler would be an absolute god send.Who'd have thought you could get excited over peeling garlic? Well that came to a surprise to me too. Perhaps I need to get out more...

Very easy to use does as it says on the tin

This product does what it claims to do, but thinking about it, all you're doing is applying a load of friction onto the skin of the garlic in order to peel it.You could probably use the tube you get from toilet paper, but to avoid the hassle and to own something you can just throw in the dishwasher after use I would highly recommend this extremely inexpensive product.As a lover of garlic (I add it to everything) this has saved me a lot of time.

its amazing, u dont have to damage ur nails, make ur hands smelly, it works like a magic !!! u jus have to roll and out comes garlic with out the skin, and its quite easy n fast !every kitchen's must have ! worth the price ! simply loving the ease of using it ! :)
