Bought this thermometer over other brands based on the good reviews. The extra thermometer (probe) and reasonable price sealed the deal for me. Have been using them a lot, and very happy with it. I use both thermometers to check for hot spots inside the house and checking A/C temperatures from the ceiling vents, I now know where the summer heat is concentrated at, such as walls and windows blinds as well as air temperatures from vents. Even with my windows blinds closed, the inside blinds are still taking in a lot of heat. (thermometer really helped here)Will now add solar screens to windows that have hot spots.Quick comments:- Accurate readings. I compared the readings against my A/C thermostat and both sensors are within one degree. (my wall unit only has two digits)- Added pictures to show temperature comparisons- Readings are instant - Within one-two seconds- Very sturdy design. Does NOT feel like cheap plastic (really like the black/grey color)- Paper instructions show what EMS value is needed for different surfaces - this helps a lot, but most of my surfaces are the default 0.95 settings- It would be nice if the LCD menu had a EMS listing instead of having to use the paper- Screen lights up nicely - see easily in dark areas- Packaging includes a 15% off coupon for next purchaseOverall, for my limited use, very happy with this purchase and highly recommend. You really can't go wrong with this model.

This was purchased for my father in law after he saw mine the previous Christmas. He lives in a colder state and is always checking to make sure the heat is blowing out of his floor vents. He also has a bad back. This is where the infrared thermometer comes in handy. No more bending over to feel the vents. You can easily check the temp. of the vent or air blowing out of it with a simple point and shoot. Everybody was using it as soon as it was unwrapped. In the kitchen, outside in the snow, under the hood of a car, at the shooting range, grilling outside, etc. We even found a small cold air leak the contractors missed when remodeling the house. I use mine to test the temp. of my pool water and to see if my wife actually has a fever when she tells me she does. Let's just say she hasn't had a fever in over a year. The thermo. probe that comes with it is a plus.

timely shipping it arrived on time, the item was as it was displayed, the functionality was amazing and the easy of use was made for differently abled people, all in all a great product.

Liked the gun,,, unfortunately the insert thermometer did not work at all. I charged it overnight and still nothing….i wasn’t buying it for the insert as I have a Therma pen so not as big a deal but would have been nice to have a separate one for my grill. Other downside is there is no way to contact the seller. You go to their page all you can do is shop.... also have not received any emails from them which is disappointing since im certain they have an employee monitoring their Amazon page.
