I normally size up when I buy boots. Based on past reviews, I ordered my regular size 8.5 and it fits! I was afraid it wouldn't fit my wide calves but it stretched and it fits! I'm so excited, I actually ordered the right size on the 1st try. If I want a little bit more room, then maybe a 9 would still be ok. Check out the pictures for measurements after I wore it (it's possible I stretched it after wear).I am allergic to cigarette smell, perfumes and colognes, and it passed the smell test. The shoes are pretty much like rubber, so yea, there is a faint smell of rubber like a tire, but barely noticeable.I loved how tall I am with the shoes! They felt comfortable and stable. I do go up a flight of stairs and walk uphill for parking, work, etc, so we shall see if the heal will survive. It feels like a mixture of foam and cardboard. They are cute and sexy. I can't wait to wear them to work! I hope they survive the city.

The most comfortable boots I have ever had. Not slippery and the top part is not sliding down. I wore them to church and they fit perfectly. This is worth your money. Buy one.

Very cute shoe and pretty comfortable. They have a nice platform so they are easy and sturdy to walk it. They are light weight and the calf part is stretchy so they can accommodate a wider calf.

I got these boots for a special event, however after 30 minutes I was already taking them off and being barefoot the whole night. I'm 5ft and wear a size 6, so I sized up to a 7 for more room. The top portion did fit my calves and came about 2ish inches below my knee...however the shoe portion itself was so tight, it was crushing the sides of my feet and making my toes go numb, even with all the extra toe space I had. I've never considered myself to have wide feet but mainly felt the pressure on the top crease of the boot. I'd hate to return them for another size up because I already have a quite bit of toe room, so I might try stretching the inside to see if I can "wear them in" a bit to be more comfortable for the future.Other than the sizing, it was no problem getting them on past the tall fabric, but a bit hard to get your foot in without the inside of the back heel bending in while wiggling your foot in. I hope I can make these work for me because they're super cute and was easy to walk in!

They pinch a bit in the toe box but otherwise they are super comfy. Boots has that Payless smell so it’s not that bad. Material is not the best as it looks like it’ll flake if not properly taken care of but otherwise pretty good! Will update once I finally use them again
