Promatic Pigeon Clay Target Thrower Automatic Trap Machine Skeet

The 1st launcher worked 1x before malfunctioning (less than 100 clays). We called promatic and they sent us a 2nd one at no charge. Same issue. Immediately malfunctioned. These were not simple adjustments/troubleshooting. This was catastrophic failure to the point that the launcher does not work at all. We called promatic and they insisted that they would check quality control and send out another. A week passed and I called to follow up. They changed their tune completely - demanded that I provide a credit card to ship both defective launchers back. I live in a rural part of Alaska and you can imagine how much that would have costs. Also - I would have not accepted a 2nd launcher if I knew I had to pay to send it back. Amazon reached out to them and they provided no response or resolution. BE CAREFUL if you purchase this launcher. It is poor quality and actually quite dangerous because of how poorly it is constructed. Amazon provided great customer service and resolved my issue. Thank you Amazon!NOTE: Have had experience with many launchers including ones at a lower price point. Those have lasted 5-10 years depending on the brand.

Great auto trap. Own a promatic super hawk and this trap cycles just as fast and throws clays just as far at a quarter of the price. Very pleased.

I bought one 9/1/2020. As of 1/10/2021 and no more than 1,000 targets it quit throwing right. Found that 1 gearbox mounting bolt broke and the other 2 were loose, the bolts on the throwing arm were loose, limit switch bolts were loose and limit switch could move back and forth over an inch causing double and triple throws, and 3 other bolts had fallen out. Checked the other one I bought on 9/20/2020 and the throwing arm bolts were loose, Limit Switch bolts were loose, many other bolts were loose. I am confident that these things will continue to fall apart. Buy the Champion WHEELYBIRD and save the money, and the WHEELYBIRD has the remote push button cheap.

With the addition of an elevated platform I built, this has been a great little launcher. I also did need to fine tune the tension that holds the next clay in position before it drops onto the launch pad.
