Purchased two to hold bottle / drink on aircrafts narrow tables and if I have taken the flight attendants comments they were impressed. I can carry on watching my tablet film and not having to worry knocking a drink over.

I read reviews here and honestly wonder if they are talking about the same product. A review saying I wouldn't trust any more than a 330ml tin is simpy nonsense, the guy had a 4cm thick desk? My purchase opens to allow 7cm thick. I tried it with a full 750ml bottle and it held it no problem. Make sure what you are attaching it too is thick my table is just over 4cm thick, push it on until the spring bracket stops it going any further and this is well strong enough.I tried it on a thin chair with about an inch and a half of grip and it wouldn't hold anything. I am well chuffed with this, some of those reviews nearly put me off, I am glad I chanced it for myself. I have since discovered that the plastic cup in the top ring can be moved to the bottom ring and then it's much more stable.

Use this for cans, have no issues with this product, it holds tight to a surface with the clip and is really sturdy.

As a disabled person this has been a boon. I kept knocking drinks over, but this holder solves that.Very good gripping force, large enough for most normal containers.

does not hold cup steady far too shallow spilled 2 cups in 1 day with my hoodie brushing it on way past, if your only using it for cans of coke etc it should be ok but not for cups. worst £10 I've spent in a long time.

I think if you've got a really thin desk it would be okay, my desk is about 4cm thick and it just barely attaches. It isn't very strong and I'm worried even with a 330ml can on there that it would fall off.
