Bright and solid (but no batteries)
The flashlight is bright, has zoomable feature, and accepts single 18650 lithium battery only. But they don't come with any batteries, well, most of them don't, maybe it's a way to cut corners of the shipping weight, I don't know.Months before I bought a similar set from LETMY (LETMY didn't mark the model name, or they did and I can't remember). I intended to buy the same model (HinsGEAR mark it as "SK68-Pro") again from HinsGEAR this time because the prices are exactly the same, and I figure a pro version must be better. Here's how they compare:1) Batteries: The LETMY takes an AA while the HinsGEAR takes single 18650.2) Brightness: The LETMY claims the flashlight has 300 lumens, which I highly doubt because it takes only one AA battery for runing. The HinsGEAR claims has 500 lumens, well, more or less, it's much brighter than the LETMY one, that I can tell you.3) Quality: Both LETMY and HinsGEAR's flashlight feel solid, but the HinsGEAR one is biggher in size.4) Convenience: Both have clip, and small in size, very easy to carry or store.Overall I think the HinsGEAR SK68-Pro definitely won, both LETMY’s and HinsGEAR's sold at 9.99 dollars, there's no reason not to buy the brighter one.

Not very bright.
Not very bright. I was going to mount it on an AR but it's not bright enough. It's probably comparable to a single AA led flashlight, not a 18650 led flashlight.

Not an easy review to give
When I got this, I was really looking forward to grabbing one of the batteries from my stash in the back room and seeing how it worked. I then found out this requires a special battery - a model #18650 - nope I never heard of it either. This was admittingly my first Tech light. So now I'm looking into finding a cheap battery so I can actually test it. So all said - it looks well built and it has a great style but unless you read deeper into the description than I did when I first ordered, you won't be able to use it until you buy the right battery, which by the way - is about $16 a piece plus a charger. I suppose truly it is my fault, but as a reviewer, I thought I should let you know what's coming if you buy this flashlight without reading the entire description.• Part Two - I got the battery to make this function and this little light is a powerhouse for its size. You can zoom it in and out - the one odd thing is that it projects a square light projection on my back fence (about 100 ft away) - and being old fashion, I like a round light - but if I was really old fashion, I wouldn't have an LED flashlight. Anyway, I raised this from three stars to four stars in my review because this really does a great job - however, I am still not a fan of getting the battery separately.

Doesn’t Come With Battery
You have to buy a specific battery for this and it doesn’t come with it.

Pretty good mini flashlights
I like the tactical style of these flashlights. They are pretty good for the price and do a decent job of illumination in a tight area around - they have the adjustable focus feature a lot of these do lately and it let you widen the beam. The result is not very bright in the wide area and its good on the tight focus. Not bad at all - but this is not super bright. You can see in front of you and that is the main need.I like them!

It's a Standard 18650 flashlight, sturdy
Review is of: "HinsGEAR LED Flashlights 2 Pack, Super Bright, Compact Tactical Flashlight with 5 Modes, Waterproof, High Lumens, Best Flash Light for Outdoor & Emergency Use"COMMENTS:I've accumulated several other of these generic Chinese-made LED flashlights that use one 18650 battery. This one is extremely similar to the others, even down to the sequence of hi/med/low/flash/SOS setting. It has the same button, the same clip, the same slide-to-adjust the beam, and looks like the same LED. It has the same throw distance/size as the others. This one appears just as sturdy and usable as the others. It's the same brightness, I'd assume that the battery life is the same, which is pretty good.LIKES: Easy to change the output setting- just long-press the button; it remembers the setting when you turn it back on.Easy to change the battery, the back of the tube screws off.Bright for the size; lasts a long time on a single charge.DISLIKES: Not very light, due to its metal construction and large-ish battery;OVERALL: I tested it with a button-end 18650 w/3200mah capacity; it's the same brightness and therefore duration as my other similar flashlights. Nothing outstanding from the others, just a good solid small-ish flashlight that gives plenty of light when you need it. I carry one in my backpack and have these around the house so they're not far away when needed. I would keep one in the car if I owned a car. These will stand up on the front but not the back due to the switch protruding a little. These are pretty durable, they can take a drop without dying. The black coating can aquire scratches/dings over time, but it looks good.

Nice Flashlights but they don't include batteries
Note that the battery shown in my picture is simply for reference as to what type of battery you'll need to buy - batteries are NOT included. There are multiple options on Amazon for rechargeable 18650 batteries with a charger (I found a four pack with charger for around 20 bucks).Other than that, these little flashlights are well made and plenty bright. And the fact that they take rechargeable batteries means I won't have to spend more money on disposable batteries over time.Plus (+) if the battery goes in first. And the flashlight has an adjustable lens that you can slide out or in to adjust the narrowness of the light beam. Pull out for a narrower beam that is smaller but brighter or push back towards the body for a wider beam that covers more area but isn't as bright.

Takes special batteries (not included)
The flashlights are small and seem to be well made. They’re comfortable to hold. But I should’ve read the details better (my fault). These flashlights don’t take your regular AA. You have to buy 18650 lithium batteries. If I buy the rechargeable types then I have to buy a battery charger also. Now it adds on more costs.
