Once assembled, which was relatively easy to do on your own, I would not say it was 100% stable, but okay for the job I wanted it for, which was a backdrop for my video's. However, I did have to buy some velvet materials and tie it round the back, because there were gaps between the panels, which defeats the object if you are using this to get dressed behind.

The poles are in several bits which connect only by 'pressure' joints. In fact, no amount of pressure keeps them joined -everything just falls apart as soon as you try to move any partition. I had to drill holes in all the poles and secure them with self-tapping screws. Secondly, the panels cannot be folded together for storage as the hinges only fold one way -and, then, only partly. So you have to unscrew all the hinges and separate the panels for storage. When assembled together, the four panels don't provide privacy to their full width -you have to fold the end panels inwards to make the whole thing stand, meaning that little more than half the total width provides screening privacy. I got around that by making wooden 'shoes' into which the end poles plug.

I'd like to say that this product was returned for a full refund. It was not made well and as such, would not assemble. I have given 5 stars though, as the company were really good and helpful and it didn't cost me a penny, as they refunded all the shipment costs too. Sometimes things go wrong, but it's how they're rectified that matters. I wouldn't want to suggest all of these were poor quality, because I'm sure I was just unlucky.

This is a lovely item although not overly heavy must be concertinared rather than straight or it will fall over

Unfortunately this item didn’t live up to expectations as it kept falling over and was quite gappy so defeated the whole objective of being a room divider. It was meant to divide up the kids room but it was unstable as it was so light it kept falling over them so I returned it.The return process was really straight forward though and I got my money back to buy an alternative.

It's nice but unless I have assembled it wrong moving it around has made the bolts fall off.
