ONE WAY TO LOVE - JASMINE VILLA SERIES

An absorbing love story
This is the story or Tehzeeb, an educated girl from a humble family who, after a series of unexpected incidents, marries someone from the upper class. She finds it difficult to relate to his family and way of life, and struggles to retain her freedom, especially when faced with disapproval. This novel touches on the nuances of married life and explores the thoughts of an independent heroine who most young Indian women today can relate to. Andaleeb Wajid has a knack for writing absorbing love stories—I started reading this book on Sunday, and completed it by Wednesday!

Another amazing book Andaleeb
Just finished One way to love by @andaleebwajid ... The first book in the Jasmine Villa series, a quick read, but just like others from the author. I loved the story, the charecters and the narrative. Since Ana was one of my favourite charecters, can't wait for the 2nd book to come out.... .

An engaging end of summer read
A veteran of Indian Romance (and with good reason), Wajid delivers the goods when it comes to compelling characters, suitably dramatic family drama that will be familiar to any desi, and some good old romance. The books characters are conservative in how the approach romance -- marriage is a prerequisite to anything seriously scandalous -- but this doesn't mean insipid characters. Instead, we're given a behind the scenes into how young men and women navigate such circumstances while still finding True Love. The book isn't just for the lovers, however. The protaganist, Tehzeeb will speak to many first daughters who seem to hold the weight of the world on their shoulders . She is charged with being a good daughter, a good sister, a good wife, and a good daughter in law, while still holding onto her identity. How she manages this Herculean task provides some insight into the mind of the modern millennial who might not be entirely westernized, but still wants it all. This is well worth the price tag if you're looking for a well-paced, breezy read that represents modern day Indian love, but still brings the drama in spades.

Helped me break my reader's block!
What a sweet, sweet story. Mid-way through reading it, I had this thought - how wonderful this story would be as a tele-serial. Indian television needs a makeover and a beautiful story like this is probably what it needs.I don't want to talk about the story line here but this is a very regular love story which is not regular at all. A story many can relate to, yet see flavours to the relationship that are new. Tehzeeb is very likeable and I was rooting for her from page 1.Andaleeb's style of writing is so genuine and without any pretentions. A simple story told in the simplest manner can win hearts faster than award winning, complicated stories can and that is what this story has done.

Been reading #OneWayToLove all curled up and lost the sense of time.
I love reading Andaleeb Wajid's books for the sheer story telling. The book resolves around Tehzeeb, eldest of the three sisters who finds her soulmate through an unlikely arrange marriage. This is a racy, Sunday read. I finished it at one go. If you are looking for something quick and fun to read, pick this up.

A refreshing romantic household drama with so
"One way to Love" is the first book of the three books in the jasmine villa series. .This series is about the life of a middle aged man, Yusuf Hasan, and his three daughters, Tehzeeb, Ana and Athiya. The first book is expectantly about the eldest daughter, Tehzeeb Hasan. Tehzeeb has completed her studies and is working for an NGO. Her life is filled with the silly fights of her sisters over daily chores, the complaints about their old and rundown house and most importantly love. However, her life starts changing when she gets a proposal from the most eligible and rich bachelor in the city, Ayub Ahmed, who immediately falls in love with her.The writing style is simple and pleasing. The word flow is smooth that you won't be able to put it down. The plot is not unique, but it's very intriguing. The story gives a shallow idea of the Indian-Muslim household and their rituals. The dialogues seem very natural and effective. The story was mainly about the adjustments of a new bride with her in-laws , the sweetness of a new relationship, and a lot of drama. What didn't worked out for me was the behavior of the main characters with their prospective spouses on their very first meeting. It seemed very illogical and weird. This is my first read of the author and I wasn't expecting it to be a steamy romance which made me a bit uncomfortable. However, the end made me a little emotional.Overall, I enjoyed the book and I would recommend to all those who are looking for a beautifully crafted family drama with strong romance.

Lovely, light read
The plot was simple, the characters relatable and the flow of the story both engaging and engrossing. I'm invested enough in the story and all the characters now that I can't wait for the next book to come out. I really hope it releases soon.

Andaleeb is the reigning queen of contemporary romance novels!
Andaleeb is the queen of contemporary romance novels. Her characters are relatable and her plots are excellent. Her books should be more popular than they are right now. I love how many of her characters are of Muslim background and she shows them as normal people with desires and passions. She is able to flawlessly weave in the culture of South Indian Muslim families. Can't wait for her to write more books that I can consume in one sitting!
