I got these for my son and grandkids to replace broken plates.Having looked at lots of similar plates thought I'd try theseI am over the moon to say this is a brilliant plate.Perfect for daily use and will withstand handling by children.Very, very happy with this plate.

This is an attractive plate, made from thick porcelain and fairly robust as a result. The design is beautiful, depicting blue roses in a strong colour scheme. It’s well formed and the transfer print is neatly applied and shows attention to detail in the design.The plate is deeper than usual, which helps to contain the contents on a trip into the garden, whilst standing at a buffet or just if you like to pile it high!The plate is available singly, so you can make up whatever set you choose, mixing or matching the design and adding other pieces from the range. It also means you can replace breakages, if necessary, as you go along without needing to buy an entire tea set.Although the plate is lovely, it is not well presented on arrival, shipping in just expanded paper wrap and in a bag; it isn’t always a successful shipping experience, so order in advance of need so you can swap out any breakages. I would wrap in tissue if you are considering gifting as that will make it look much better.

Pretty decorated quality plate. Somehow expected it to be much larger in diameter as its more for eating a sl8ce of cake than using to present a whole one on

This cake plate looks lovely, a really pretty pattern in deep blue, with a usefully high rim.However, my plate arrived with a noticeable chip in the glaze, right in the centre of the plate. It's a groove that has gone through to the ceramic. Disappointing as I love the plate otherwise.

Lovely cake plate. It looks lovely, and it’s great quality. It’s thick and durable. The design is nice.It’s 20 cm in diameter, good size. Perfect for cake, dessert.

This plate with lovely blue roses is beautifully made, of good quality and designed with intricate detail. It has a good weight, the overall look and colour is just spot on.It’s however a little bit shallower and smaller than I would like, but still good anyhow. I will try to find similar plates with different sizes to complete the set.Slightly pricey at £18 (at the time of writing), but it’s a good quality, and well-made plate that will look very nice on your table at teatime.

This is a lovely cake plate with a beautiful blue flower pattern. It's quite thick and robust with a large lip around the edge to stop things sliding off. It's also dishwasher safe.The packaging isn't the best, but it arrived in one piece, however if your intending on giving as a gift, I'd find a gift bag to put it in.As much as I like this plate I do think it's slightly pricey given that you only receive one plate, and to make up a set it would end up being quite expensive.
