Olympus MCON-P02 Macro Converter for EZ-M1442 IIR, EZ-M1442EZ, ES-M251

Amazing little lens. It works very well for an add on lens. I was very impressed.

I use this with Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 14-42mm 1:3.5-5.6 EZ (the kit lens which comes with OMD EM10). It seems to work best at the tele-end (that is 42mm). The isolation between the subject and the background is nice. I like the produced 'bokeh' as well (though this is highly subjective and others might think differently).The reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because it can't compete and does not come anywhere near a purpose-built macro lens such as M.Zuiko 60mm f2.8 macro. This maybe justified considering 1) huge price difference 2) it's not a lens just an accessory which means that it gives better portability and less fussiness when you are out and about.I would highly recommend this to anyone who 1) do not expect to get super-macro image 2) does not have a macro lens (this is a sensible entry-point to the macro world due to the price, you may as well just throw it away if you find the whole macro thing uninteresting).To summarize: It's an accessory not a lens, keep that in mind before adding this to your basket. Cannot fault the supplier, very good service. But the converter is a very overpriced close up lens, even if it does come with a stepping ring. Macro it is not. However quality 37mm close up lens are it seems few, so choice is limited.

Very good quality Olympus filter with step up ring 36-47mm. Initially my daughter thought the step up ring was missing but it was tightly jammed in the cover.

Decent quality and fits both of the lenses I routinely use, namely the Olympus 17/1.8 and 45/1.8. Not a replacement for a good macro lens but as something to keep in your bag when you just want to get a closer shot of something it's fine. I dislike swapping lenses when I'm out and about so this suits my purpose. The effect in terms of magnification is far better on the 45/1.8 than the 17/1.8 and I suspect it would be useful on the Olympus 25/1.8, which has a reasonably good close focus distance for its focal length. I didn't think the price was unreasonable compared to good quality filters, for example.

Image quality is very good but, frankly, this did not seem to make much difference to the type of macro photography that I do. the standard lenses go close enough for flowers and insects. I took some comparative shots with and without the macro lens screwed on and whilst there is some improvement for me it did not justify the price or the added complication. If I want significant close-ups then I now use extension tubes. This lens may suit some applications and it does produce good images when used correctly.

Great does what it says, good price

"it is was it is", if you want true macro get a macro lens, but for what i need e.g. close ups of rings and jewelry etc.. for weddings its good enough...

Volevo provare l'esperienza di fotografie macro ma senza spendere cifre esorbitanti e con questo accessorio per la mia Olympus posso ritenermi pienamente soddisfatta.

OLYMPUS E-PL9 に 25mm f1.8 を組み合わせ、装着して使い始めました。もちろん、14-42mm EZでも使って見ました。テーブルフォト、カメラまかせでマクロ入門、十分楽しめると思います。使い込んで、不満が出たら本格マクロにステップアップしても無駄にはならないように思います。マクロレンズまではお小遣いが・・・と、購入を迷っている方にはお勧めです。持ち歩くのも苦にならず、中々良いです。ケースは100円ショップ等を探すと丁度良い物が見つかると思います。写真のケースは、セリアで見つけたアクセサリーケースです。60mmマクロも所有していますが、こちらの方がイージーに使えます。

Da mir ein 'echtes' Makro-Objektiv bisher immer zu teuer war, mich die kleinen Dinge aber sehr faszinieren, habe ich zu dem damaligen Preis von 68 € zugeschlagen. Der Konverter hat meine Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen: Abbildung und Schärfe sind sehr erfreulich. Ich habe 2 kompatible Objektive: Das Oly 45 mm 1:1.8 sowie das Oly-Kit-Objektiv 14-42 mm 1:3.5-5.6 II R. Für mich selbst etwas überraschend: Für den Einsatzfall 'Makro' bevorzuge ich (anders als bei fast allen übrigen Situationen) das Zoom.Einziger Wermutstropfen ist der Umbau der Kamera, Schnappschüsse sind natürlich schwierig. Das liegt aber wohl in der Natur der Sache ;-).Insgesamt eine klare Kaufempfehlung: Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich für kleines Geld soviel Gegenwert erhalte!

Aumenta el tamaño por dos. Se puede utilizar con el objetivo del kit 14-42 y con el 45 f1.8. Las imágenes son buenas.
