Yes it does go on slightly oily, but it dries quick enough and I still need a light moisturizer over it to lock in and seal the moisture on the skin, otherwise it feels like it is thoroughly absorbed, which it may well be. Comparatively with other similar products I have tried The Ordinary is keenly priced but not only that it works well for my skin. I started off with only doing a patch test and then progressed to using it once every other day. Now it is part of my daily skin routine. I use a serum before applying; allowing this to absorb and then apply the product.
